Surprise!!
Some of you may have seen a thread earlier today about a member looking to rehome his two snakes. Well, I ended up chatting with him a bit and was able to take the two snakes.
They are both in great shape and have nice, docile dispositions.
I was able to spend a little time with the gentleman and his wife, and let me say, they are awesome people. He was sad to see them go, but was very happy they're going to a good home. He also included the enclosures (a boaphile and a 15 gallon) and all the heating equipment and tstats, hides, water bowls, etc...
So without further ado...
Meet the two newest members of the Frechette family.
The pics aren't great, but I just snapped a few quickly before setting them up in my quarantine room and heading into work.
First is a 4 y/o male Pastel Fader BP who came from N.E.R.D.
Second is a 2 y/o male Anery KSB. I have to admit, I've never been too interested in KSBs, but this guy was just too cute to pass up (bonus: Katie liked him right away too.)
He's also just going into shed, so he's a bit dulled out. I can't wait to see him with fresh paint!!
I'm going to get to know them a bit before deciding on names, but I have a few in mind.
More, better quality pics to come once they're settled in...https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...f6b6605389.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...87defb9c4e.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...a5f740c0f1.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...1f14560b36.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...5191ba01db.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...3b975f78bf.jpg
Thank you again, Rob!!!

Awesome! I'm glad to see that not only did they find their way to a good home, but that this forum was able to connect you guys so that this could happen. And, of course, congrats on the new additions!

Re: Surprise!!
This is going to sound crazy, but as I was reading his thread about the two snakes, I thought of you and how this sounded like something you might be interested in. :) I'm so glad they've found a fantastic home and hopefully the gentleman who had to rehome them feels more at ease knowing his snakes will continue to be welll-cared for.

Re: Surprise!!
That's so cool Craig. Congrats on the new critters! It's a win win win situation. The BP looks awesome and the KSB looks healthy and hearty too.

That's so great! I did see the thread about these 2 snakes, I'm so happy that you're able to take them in...lucky snakes! And their previous owner can
have "visitation" via the forum, lol...:D

Re: Surprise!!
I saw that ad this morning, too. They couldn’t have gone to a better home. Congratulations on the new family members!

Awesome Craig! Glad to see they went to a good home!

When I saw how quickly they went from posted to gone, I had a gut feeling that you ended up with them. Grats man. KSBs are a personal favorite of mine, but I don't want to raise mice in order to get a couple of babies. lol

Re: Surprise!!
Aww that's awesome, Craig! At least they'll get the absolute best TLC.
I came SO close from taking an Anery home from HERP yesterday. I must've held him 5 times throughout the day. lol

Congratulations, they’re beautiful. Glad to see it worked out for everyone involved. Enjoy Graig!

Lovely new babies, Craig!

They are gorgeous! My little Anery KSB is just 11 grams so I love seeing the bigger ones. Congrats!

Hi all-
I am the one who posted trying to re-home these snakes.
I just wanted to say thank you again to Craig for providing these snakes a wonderful home.
I've done my very best over the years to ensure their health and happiness and I didn't want these snakes to go to just anyone.
What Craig did for me will never be forgotten. He has been able to spare me years of guilt and worry. I did not want to abandon these animals by surrendering them to a pet store (not even zoo creatures) as I would have no say in where or with whom they went. To know these snakes will be exceptionally cared for is the most wonderful outcome i could have hoped for and provides me such internal peace.
It was wonderful getting to talk to Craig and his girlfriend and I am beyond grateful for their intervention.
To be able to see these guys on the forums will be wonderful for me and hopefully I will be able to meet up with Craig from time to time for an in snake visit :)
Thanks again Craig and to everyone here who have posted such nice things. I am glad that it shows i did my best with these 2. I sincerely did and will miss them much.
Craig- in all the craziness that day, I never did share with you their names... If you want i'll share them with you, but I do not want to get in the way of your naming process, because as far as I could tell, the snakes never learned them :)
Thanks again to all on this forum for providing such a great space of knowledge and for allowing me to re-home these great snakes.

This was a clear "win" for all concerned....thanks to this terrific forum. :gj:
All the best to you, rob i- I think it's wonderful that you can even keep in touch. :snake:

Excellent!
Probably one of the best ways to justify chats boards like this.
Likeminded folks helping each other out.
I'm glad you could take them.

Thanks so much, Rob. I'm definitely looking forward to you stopping by to see them. We could make an afternoon out of it or something. Maybe BBQ or something while we hang out.
I'd definitely love to know their names, and yeah, I think you're right they never learned them, hahhahaha!!
In full disclosure, I've got a few names in mind, not sure if you saw that thread too. But, since they are incapable of knowing their names, it would be strictly for me, so we'll see.
Anyway, they'll be regulars on the forum and seem to have already developed a bit of a fan club. Once they're settled in I'll be able to get them out for some handling sessions and of course....photo shoots!!
Thank you again, Rob. I truly believe it was a win-win-win for all involved.
And of course, as mentioned via text, there is an open invitation for you to come say hi anytime.

teams u dont; have (WNBA) and teams u have w/o a championship (New England Revolution in MLS).
it's ok Craig to feel incomplete. maybe u guys will get an MLS cup or few WNBA titles. i feels so incomplete and i'm still waiting on my Mariners to break back into the playoffs let alone win a pennant or World Series.
