northerngirl05
Just wanted to say hi and welcome to northerngirl05 who is my younger daughter and working very hard towards owning her first personal snake. She is aiming for a nice 05 female albino Nelson's milksnake and has joined this forum to learn more about her milksnake and snake keeping in general. She is also a huge help with the care of the ball pythons we have.
Welcome to the forum sweetie. We're very proud of your interest in snakes and know you will grow into a wonderful responsible owner!

Well done!
Glad to have you aboard! We also rely on a couple of our boys to help with the daily maintenance routines and our 14yo has his own black blood python, a cali king, 2 sudanese plated lizards a tegu and a rosehair tarantula! Great to see other folks approach it as a family hobby/interest.

Re: northerngirl05
Hi there and welcome! Good to have you here. Now keep all arms and legs inside the ride and no feeding the flying monkeys. I'm the person your mom is always talking about as Ruari's new owner :-D
I bet you can't wait to get your new female albino Nelson's. They are just adorable! Good luck with her.

Welcome! Snakes make one of the best pets out there. You've made a great decision!

Re: northerngirl05
They are all getting into it Christie. Our older son is also saving up madly for his own personal snake. A nice male het for albino Nelson's milksnake. I think they have caught the "raise em up and breed em" bug from Mike and I LOL! He's the one Becky that's just crazy over your Ruari! Course what teenage boy wouldn't be nuts over a big ole male red tail boa that actually seems to like hanging out with the guys and watching Sunday football LOL!
The oldest just got her first apartment and of course had to get a snake for it! A lovely creamsicle corn so I'm sure once she gets a computer she'll drop in here too.

Re: northerngirl05
Sounds good! I just think it's hilarious that your oldest wanted a snake as a house warming present! :lmao: That's just great!! It's bad, when you look at houses differently for their snake room potential. At least I feel better I'm not the only one! ;)

Re: northerngirl05
LOL I've been eyeing the houses for rent with that very idea in mind....hmmm...does "no pets" really include snakes...I mean they aren't techinically pets since we intend to breed them and it's not like they would bark and wake the neighbours or scratch the carpeting....hehehehehehehe!
