I have only handled him during unboxing and while moving him to clean his tank. He still has some slight stress marks on his belly from shipping and adjusting to his new home but they are fading and it’s only day 2. He is acting normally and eating very well.

Years ago a friend of mine picked up a pair of juvenile dragons. Hers were about the size of Darwin when she got them, but it was quite some time before they were settled in enough to handle and take a photo. Even with limited handling so far, it’s great that he is already so calm.

The couple times I have held him, he has been calm and sat still or walked slowly up my forearm. We’ll see as I begin handling him more over time, but I feel good about him so far. Tonight he saw me with the crickets in a tiny round fishbowl and came over to the glass, following the bowl with his eyes. Lol He’s definitely a character.
