How old is your ball python?

Just curious. My snake is 33, wondering how much longer she's gonna be around.

mine are all around a year. my oldest pet is my pup Lily who is about 12 or 13.

My oldest ball python has been traded three times as a retired breeder before I got him 14 years ago. Now he moves super slow and has been sleeping kinda upside down (which is disturbing)...he seems fine otherwise...

My oldest bp will be 29 this year, and the youngest are less than a year. Most of the care sheets will tell you to expect 30 years, but I have read there are some that live past 40. I’m aiming for that...love my boy Eli. :P

Boop will be three in August. Odyn is two. My pueblan, Eeden is around 10.

I have two 5-6 year olds (not 100 percent sure because they were Craigslist rescues). And I have a 1 year old.

My oldest is 25. Got him in 1994 when he was around 6 months old (guess based on size) he was my first snake. Still seems healthy and content. I also have a 2 year old BP

It would be really cool to get some age ranges. People always ask me "how long to they live..."? I am really looking forward to seeing actual numbers. Thank you everyone for your input.

My oldest BP is 12 . . . Oldest snake (ye olde Rosy Boa) is 22.

Mine isn't even a year old yet but I'm happy to see there are so many long-lived and healthy BPs under the care of people on this forum :)

My oldest is about 4. Youngest is about a year.

My oldest bp is 7, but I got her as an adult. Most of my bps are 4 years old or younger. My oldest snake is a Rosy Boa. She's 13+. Not sure of her exact age, but her previous owner had her for ten years.

Wow, that's an old snake you've got, mine is just a youngster at 24.

I only have one bp. He's almost 2 and a half years old.

One is a year old, one is 3 years old

Wow some of you all have very old ones!!

My little Crowley is 5 years old, I'm hoping he makes it past 30. :)

Mine is around 13-14 years old. No issues at all. I'd be thrilled if my snakes live into their thirties.

I am relatively new to the hobby, and very new to breeding.
I have 24 snakes ranging from 1 to 9 years old.

I never thought she would ever live this long. We have been through everything you can think of.... mites when she was younger, infections, not eating, assisted feeding, laying eggs but never been mated, stuck egg, she has a bone deformity... possibly spinal kinking... she has lived at friends houses, my mom's house, with my son... and now we live with my daughter (in the moutains, lows get in the 20's). Oh and power outages... my daughter and I have both had to sleep with her to keep her warm.

And when i got her the encylopedia said 20-25 years in captivity... go figure.

Kahlua is 11 years old this year. I wish he would get as old as yours. I really don't like departing. :tears:

Not sure of his hatch date, but Geoffrey turns 10yrs old sometime this year.

My youngest is 7. My oldest is about 20 based on what the previous owner said.
