Which would you choose and why?
-
Personally, I wouldn't go by appearances at all...to me, a pet is more about personality, & since it's a BP, also which one is the "least-picky" eater. ;)
They're all pretty... cute bird too!

Re: Which would you choose and why?
First Choice: The Genetic Stripe female. A recessive trait to start will be valuable for any potential G-Stripe project breeding in the future and will give you a good head start as you will produce guaranteed 100% Het offspring from the cross.
Second Choice: The cinnamon female. While it is a common trait...females take longer to mature than males and if ever you want to breed bps in the future you will need a female at maturity.
Third Choice: The super pastel banana male. With pastel in everything now and banana with increasing popularity: a super pastel banana is not unusual. Males are faster to mature and breeders often don't need as many males as they produce for their projects (which drives prices down). I would not keep this snake unless I had a morph goal that required pastel and banana together.

It would be the banana for me. I just love the color of them, and the freckles as they get older. Of my 13 bps, 3 are banana combos.
Beautiful parrot. Is she a sun conure?

The super pastel nanner male... all offspring would at least be pastel, and if crossed with the right kinds of females the offspring would be stunning.
I know recessives are more valuable, but I don't personally care for g stripes and single gene cinnamon doesn't do much for me, would be good for breeding with the right partner though.

Lord Sorril's excellent reply was what I figured from someone with a breeding perspective & you never did indicate your future plans on that, but it's cool that we
all have different reasons from different angles...:D You might have to toss a coin?

Green Cheek conure... and her "morph" is yellow-sided. Sun Conures are a little bigger, x10 times louder and look like this:

Thanks all! Great perspectives!

The banana, all the way. I just love yellow snakes and that one is gorgeous! Such lovely colours and patterns. That one looks like it isn't gonna get too many spots either, which is a bonus for me.

Re: Which would you choose and why?
Cinnamons are one of my favorite base morphs, so... ;)

I would pick the one with the best personality. Paint jobs are great and all, but I keep snakes as pets because I love snakes. You could put a pretty paint job on a donkey, but I still wouldn't want it as a pet.
Don't get me wrong, as humans it's only natural to be drawn to something that physically appeals to us. Whether it's a spouse, car, clothes, whatever...physical appearance is a factor in which we choose.
I guess all my babbling can be summarized by saying if it was me, I'd keep the one I enjoy most as a pet. Beauty is only skin deep.
-
I would keep the one least likely to nip someone who had never held a snake before and who wanted to learn more about them and hold one for the first time.

Definitely the Cinny.

Re: Which would you choose and why?
Not knowing these snakes, and so based solely on personal preference, I'd keep the banana. I like flashy snakes, and it's hard to get better than a bright colored, well-patterned yellow snake in my book. The other two aren't really competition in that regard. The cinnamon would probably be second though- I'm quite enamored of the artistic blotches down her spine.
If it came down to it though, and I could only have one living with me, I'd probably see if I could find a friend or family member willing to take care of the other two for me until I was in a position to keep all three again. As for which one I'd keep with me, it qould probably be whichever one brought me the most joy, and the greatest amount of warm, fuzzy feelings.

That g stripe is amazing!!! But like Craig said, personality is the best! I paid $330 for my first ball. And got my pastel for free as he was a rescue. I don’t like picking a favorite but if I had to say it that free pastel I got I couldn’t ever part with him! So yeah, who cares about a paint job when u don’t like driving the car...
