I got my breath back right after I accidentally inhaled my morning coffee when that picture finally loaded (dang slow dial-up but oh so worth it!)

Wonderfully lovely baby Kara...congrats to you and Kev yet again!

    Adam,

You really should see a doctor about those laughing fits before you run out of backside to laugh off.

Seriously, a sex linked mutation would be very interesting. I wonder if it could be on either the "w" or "z" gender chromosomes. There's probably some precedence from birds to read up on. For the banana to be passed from mother to daughter I guess it would have to be on the "w" (if not just a fluke so far) but maybe there could also be a z mutation that could show up in both genders.

From somewhere I thought NERD’s original coral glow was male but now I don't remember if I actually read that somewhere or not.

Yes, the original ("whitesmoke") was a male, as stated on our website.

Thanks! It will be interesting to see if the Banana's eventually produce a male to help figure out if it really has anything in common with White Smoke or not. Would still be fun to eventually see a sex linked ball python mutation.

Thanks everyone!! When we hatched the first Corals in November '02, we were all pretty mindblown over here. Hatching the Pastel Coral & BumbleBee Coral this year has made all the waiting very worthwhile!!! :D

Beautiful colors! I am always eagerly awaiting yer pics and wondering what BPs you guys will be producing next! I have to say that, in the beginning of my BP forays, I thought "how much can they really do with these morphs?" Now I realize that the sky isn't even the limit; there is none.

LOL...thanks again everybody. Let me just mention for the record that Kevin really put a lot of anxious days, sweat & tears into this project...I'm amazed he doesn't have an ulcer right now, since I certainly would! This is his baby, so he gets all the props. I'm just the in-house cheering section & resident picture-poster & fellow drooler. ;)

    You're a rock star baby!!! :D
