i love suris. she's got beautiful peaks.

would anyone recommend getting a suri, over a columbian? or are they about the same other than size?

BCCs are a bit more demanding of husbandry requirements than BCIs (colombians)

They do grow larger, and they can be a bit more high strung than your average colombian.

KickA$$. I love true red tails...I actually almost bought a Guyuna Today! I thought 200.00 for an unkown wild caught, which meant it probably was, was too much. She was beauuuutiful.

I paid $200 for her.. she was farm raised. Appears very healthy.. eats F/T like a pig, and is tame to boot!

I think she was very worth the money.. considering CB can be up to $600!

Medium mice. I'm feeding her conservatively because young BCC have regurgitation problems if you feed too large a prey item.

shelby that girl is pretty! you know, if i had known the differences between the bci and bcc, i woulda went with bcc but i dont regret getting nikita. what are you gonna house her in when she get humongo?

It is better to start with BCI because they are more tolerant of husbandry mistakes.

When she's full grown, a 6' x 2' cage will be adaquate. If she's a real monster (10') I may have to go with an 8' cage.

With all these condas I'm acquiring, I'll have quite a stack of those cages. lol

are you gonna try to build your own or just buy one? im debating whether to build or purchase right now. building i guess would be more self rewarding and cost effective if it is done right.
