Must be fun, swimming with morays! That water sure looks inviting! I love to swim...I might be part-fish? -or more likely a sea snake in a "previous life"?
What's the water temperature this time of year?

Very nice! My husband likes to scuba dive, is that permitted there? And he also does underwater photography. He really wants to take a trip to the Australia Great Barrier Reef one day.

It can turn red at certain times due to dinoflagellate (algae) blooms. There are marine and freshwater species which under the right conditions “bloom” and release toxin. This turns the water blood red and toxic, which is likely what old stories were referring to when they said water turned to blood. Pretty cool imo :)

    Very nice there sir!

I have taken to the water in some very nice destinations over the last 20 or so years and appreciate a post like this. Beautiful pictures.

I'll actually be back in Cozumel, Mexico early this spring.

Nice to see somebody else enjoying paradise

Coastal Florida has this problem now & then too...really hurts business at the beach. Must have been really scary back when no one knew what was causing it.
