Well, from now on she'll be LOOKING before she sits down, and best of all, no harm to the snake!
"...The snake catcher provided Ms Richards with some antiseptic spray to help clean the bite, and the snake was safely removed from the toilet and relocated to a more appropriate environment.Ms Richards was commended for not trying to flush the intruder and said her "toilet habits have forever changed".
Sorry for being off-topic, but I needed something to feel better about, after the sad death of those boas you shared. :(

Gotta wonder if she immediately jumped up after being bit "mid-stream", probably making a mess in her bathroom, or waited until she completed her "stream", then got up to investigate. Hmmmm...
Honestly, I think its pretty clear that those snakes were alive, and someone willingly dumped them on a cold night, knowing they'd freeze. Real sad to know there are such cruel people out there.

If something bit YOU "mid-stream" would you wait around to finish? I don't think so...:D Bit of a "distraction", lol.
2nd point, I agree with you...it was deliberate & horribly cruel. I hope they "get theirs..."

Six-foot, dead snake found hanging on Virgin Mary statue in Jersey City
JERSEY CITY — Cops in Jersey City see a lot but a dead Colombian red-tailed boa constrictor draped on a statue of the Virgin Mary may be a first.
Police stumbled upon the desecration soon after 8 a.m. on Tuesday. The statue sits at the corner of Seventh and Brunswick streets in Jersey City, outside the Brunswick Center. The building includes a private preschool.
It’s not unheard of for someone in Jersey City to desecrate a religious statue — it’s happened at Our Lady of Czestochowa several times — but the use of the snake is a new touch.
Irene Borngraeber handles animal control for Jersey City as executive director of Liberty Humane Society. Borngraeber told The Jersey Journal she believes this is the first dead boa constrictor Liberty Humane has recovered.
“We’ve had live ones before,” she said.
There were no obvious signs of injury on the snake, she added.
Desecration of a venerated object is a misdemeanor crime punishable by up to six months in jail.
The Brunswick Center is housed in a building that belongs to nearby Holy Rosary Church. A request for comment from the church’s spokeswoman was not returned.
The statue was dedicated in 1952 to the parish’s dead veterans.

Wow....:O No words....:confusd:
Another thought- maybe their snake died of natural causes & this was NOT meant as desecration of the statue? (still weird, but?)
I don't pretend to understand all that goes on in the minds of the religious...maybe they thought their snake was going to heaven
by doing this?
