I've kinda been dreading this one (the big 4-0) but after all, it's only a number.

I will NOT be leaving the comfort of the house today, Tues is my typically scheduled day off and it's 3 degrees outside. So, my day will include hanging out with the snakes, ferrets and cat. Probably a little Madden on the PlayStation and waiting patiently for my girl to get home. Then a quiet night in with some dinner (haven't decided if I'm cooking yet) and some tv and cuddling time. Body heat is a great source for warmth after all :P

Anyway, thanks again, everybody!! I'll update when I finalize my decision on my bday gift!!

Ha!! French Fry!!! I haven't heard French Fry in at LEAST 25 years!!! That's awesome!!! I was known as Frenchie for a long time, some of my oldest friends still call me that. Then in my late teenage years it became "Lunatic French", a riff off the classic Red Rider song "Lunatic Fringe" (can't imagine why, hahahhaha).

Thanks for the trip down memory lane, that was awesome!!

Yeah, I'm upgrading enclosures and equipment. I am still holding off on a new snake, decided to do some upgrades first.
So I'm not 100% sure which route I'm going yet, but likely a new rack and a HerpStat for my bday.
But I may end up changing my mind and going for some display enclosures instead and get the HerpStat on my own after.
I'll keep you posted. I'm excited, but indecisive....

Exciting. I plan on doing some cage upgrades and moving more bioactive this year. Should be fun one enclosure at a time. Been reading up and hope to have some cool things in the works. Please share your progress as you make it.

I had a 19 year old coworker say to me the other day "You should feel lucky, Craig. Lots of people never get the chance to turn 40."
