From a gal's viewpoint also...;) Keep your options open, & keep looking...it may not be as 'mutual' as you think, so don't waste your time waiting or being
"too available". Be honest with yourself about all the possible reasons he didn't respond.

What if he is playing it cool too? I’m a forward guy and I like not playing games. Life is too short to play games. Have fun and tell him the truth, if he doesn’t respond with honesty then ditch him

He straight up told me he likes me multiple times and always reminds me when I forget, but he won't respond to me which is unusual for him (he's a really sweet guy and a good friend)
