    And he is here!!
Got the little super reduced reticulated Gila home and letting him explore. He is all over and never even hissed at me. Going to offer him a pinky later. Guy is a lot smaller than I thought. He's about 10 weeks old born on Oct 27th 18. I'm so happy. My other huge want since I was kid next to gtps.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...baadda0e9c.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...d919c76613.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...98fe07a9e3.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...9fe02295a7.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...1d9d9f73ef.jpg

    Nice Sauzo. Very cute.

I bet you just want to squeeze his cheeks and give him a big old smack-r-roo on the lips!

However, even if you want to. Don't. Don't do that.

A pinkie sounds like a great idea though. He will probably enjoy that more. In fact, you will both enjoy that more.

All kidding aside, enjoy him. He's awesome!

If he was MY pet, I'd have to rig up a button I could push when company comes over that plays a recording that makes it appear he's letting out a roar!

Nah, the beaded clutch isnt hatching until end of this month or so and its from a different breeder who is known more for beaded. The Gila came from Steve Angeli who is one of the big 3 breeders for gilas along with Pro Breeders and Doc Seward. Steve also has a clutch of endangered beadeds from legally imported adults coming this May which he is taking deposits on.

I would have guesse slamming you hand in a car door, then putting it in a fire, and then pouring lye on it.

So, in comparison, your description doesn't sound half bad.

For the record, I'd still avoid a bite at all costs if I could. No reason to test out the two theories.

Gilas get about 1.5-2 feet. Mexican beaded get about 3 feet. Couple more pics of him after his dinner looking for more lol.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...38903706c1.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...977f89a2c5.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...9e37b90adf.jpg

He is SO cute, but after your description of a bite and the video clip that was shared, I think I’ll stick with photos. :weirdface Here’s hoping you never get first hand experience.

Funny part also is if he is hiding, I just have to unlock the cage and slide a door open and he will pop his head out from where he is hiding to see what's up. Makes finding him pretty easy.

Actually i was told he can live in an AP T10 4x2 cage his whole life although i will probably get him a 5x3 or 6x3 when he is an adult.
