identifying spotnose in leopards
I know one of the tell tale signs for spotnose if the light marker on the head.. but would leopard mask that? just purchased what was marketed as super pastel leopard..but looks more like a leopard spotnose to me. super busy pattern. parents to offspring dont offer any clues either, was pastel het clown to a pastel leopard het clown.
Re: identifying spotnose in leopards
There is a big color difference between a super pastel leopard and a leopard spotnose.
Well lighted photos are helpful.

That's not a very blushed super pastel, especially on the head. Mot too sure on IDing these genes, but here's a good picture of my pastel leopard mojave if anyone wants as a reference.

Only pic I have with good light so far, so she is a bit dull for a shed here. Mostly the brown and yellow is a bit brighter, but the blushing is on the same scale here as when she is out of shed.

Yeah, though I don't think it is fully unique to supers depending on the mix. Mine is not a super and still has it up the back all over. I just figured I'd toss her pic out to see if it helps anyone out as a comparison.
Really no idea how to ID spotnose nor if it would reduce the blushing like that, so it's still possibly anything, lol.
Hope someone familiar with them chimes in..

To my eyes: Pastel Leopard +1 gene (guessing het Clown - to make the patterning)
