Two new books; has anybody read them?
Ball Pythons in Captivity and The Complete Ball Python. Both by Kevin McCurley. Picked them up on Sunday after our tour.

All jokes aside let me know how they are. I’d like to get one for my boy. He’s really taking an interest in it. I wanted to study Herpetology when I was younger but was never able to pursue it. I’d like to give him the chance if he so chooses.

Will do. The smaller one is more of a husbandry book whereas the other is mainly a breeding book.

Yes, they are very good and a little old school. But then again, so am I. And here’s two more, the Colette Sutherland is also very informative.

This is a absolute beast of a book. Big, heavy, hard cover and full of information and gorgeous pictures. A true coffee table book.

The new version is also coming out.

I have the one on the right. Haven't read too much of it, but it seems like a solid book. I have several of the "The Complete..." series.. The boa book is awesome (by vin russo), also the carpet python book(nick mutton) is great. I have the Chondro and Subac books too all are pretty nice, but I use the boa and carpet ones the most. I just ordered VPI's latest book in their pythons of the world series, volume III (pythons of asia). I'm hoping it will be good also. I'd love their volume I (pythons of Australia) but it is going for well over $100 so I don't want it that badly.

You can still get volume III from VPI directly in their online store.
