What would you do?

Hi there friends!
I’m planning for next season, and the time is now! I have a mystery male sold as GHI enchi pastel, I was thinking about plugging a yellowbelly mojave in to see what we get! Another snake I’ve seen for sale is a gorgeous “Window” yb pastel. I’ll update photos of my make soon he’s feeding... I should have taken photos before!

I love the look of leopard... I would probably choose that one myself.

And as a similar snake to what you could produce...

I’m absolutely not a source of knowledge when it comes to breeding so take this with a grain of salt....wouldn’t it be better to breed to a normal to see what you actually have? Breeding to a yellow belly Mojave produces 32 different offspring. It might produce something awesome, but you still won’t know for sure what you have? Is that correct or am I way off? Trying to learn as much as I can.

I love anything Leopard

I’ve got it narrowed down to the window yb and the leopard (I only wish she was a yb!).

Breeding to a normal is a great idea, quite honestly I’ve never had any genes to prove out. Only straight forward things. A local girl has a normal female het pied that could fit in to my breeding program, as pieds are the other focus I could use her to investigate his genes further.
