Aurora is paid off. 6 months of paying. She ships today. Temps between 70F and 54F the next 2 days. Will have a tracking number soon. Prehistoric Pets is who I am buying her from. I am already checking my email every few minuets for tracking number but will be around 5 or 6 my time this evening before I get one. I have to work tomorrow but she is being shipped to the local hub and I will pick her up there after I get off at 3PM. They are putting heat packs in her box with her so even though it will be around 70 to 50ish at night she will be warmer than the low end we hope. So distracted at work today and I am sure tomorrow will prove the same. Cant take off because of work load.

If anyone is in the area I will do an unboxing at Rainforest Pets around 5 PM tomorrow. Will have Rainbow with me also. I know we have a few locals on here.

I always want to do what is best for her. Not sure how her being in blue will effect her being shipped but you are the expert. Cold front moving in Saturday so might be spring before we can ship her after this week. Call me if you like.

Hi Joseph,

In blue they are notorious for seriously rubbing up their face during shipping while attempting to shed and they are more likely to have issue with any drops in temperature.

I’ll check back in on her later today and review with the rest of the team and see if we feel comfortable sending her out. Otherwise we will keep a close eye on the weather and ship as soon as possible.

I'm glad they decided to ship. I have gotten 2 snakes shipped to me in deep blue and it didn't seem to affect them at all. Esp. since it still takes at least a couple of days before they will actually shed, having to turn clear again first, etc. So the snake shouldn't want to rub skin of just yet.

The temps seem PERFECT, so this should work out just fine :)

So now the waiting and pacing begins :) Can't wait for your unboxing video..

Sleeping bag by the front door should work.....just in case.

Thanks. Super excited. Even in blue I am sure she will knock socks off. She has been in the box for 4 hours now. Dark and bumpy ride for her. She will be OK but I am sure scary to her for sure.

Just got to work and she is sitting at the shipping hub waiting on me. 8 hours of working and 1 hour of driving to go before I can get her. Today is going to be a long day! Super excited like a kid in a candy store.

Thanks, She has an almost neon glow to her even in shed. I hope she sheds the next couple of days.

Last night she hugged her warm spot. Don't blame her at all. She was cold when I took her out. I got up she was in her hide sleeping. She explored everything. Her water bowl (needs upgrading to a swimming pool for her). Her hides. Every nook and carney. I love when they explore after a new enclosure or a cleaning of one.
