Photos of almost the entire gang (with good camera, PIC HEAVY)
So I dusted off our Nikon and took some practice shots of everybody during cage maintenance today. I am by no means a photographer, but it's pretty cool to see the difference in photos taken on my phone and with a proper DSLR. Everyone is here except for Bridget, as she was already back in her plant before I realized the battery was charged. We've been battling a case of mites :tears: but this is hopefully our last round of treatment (which is why some of the snakes are wet). After much debate I ended up trying the Nix route, so fingers crossed! (If it comes to it, I also have PAM and Frontline spray and Natural Chemistry Reptile Spray, LOL). Anyway, here are most of our beeps and boas and a carpet python to top it off. They are all in my signature if you have any questions about who is what. Enjoy!
First up is Yoshi, who is a pretty chill and neat little guy. I love his little ringer.

Here's Zelda, our Bredli. She's doing great and is a dream to handle.

Cher, our biggest girl, looking as bright as ever.

And Sunny, a mellow guy. He's holding his color pretty well so far, although I'm thinking he'll wash out with age.

Clark, my first snake love. Can't believe he was only 72 grams when we got him!

Arya, who is due to shed. We also had to make some adjustments to her cage because she was beating herself up a bit, as you can see from the red marks along her back. Hopefully she'll be good as new once she sheds.

And Artemis :) I finally got some photos that due her justice. Going to bump her up in prey size soon.

Beautiful collection! I really want to get a good quality camera eventually and take some amazing photos of the 34 animals we have lol

Wow that’s a pretty sweet collection you got going on there. Love all the bright yellows. And who doesn’t love a dumeril. Congratulations and thanks for sharing!

What a great line-up of snakes! I think I must be partial to the more red-hued ones, because I particularly like Peaches and Memphis. And if that's how Arya looks pre-shed, she must look even lovelier when she's freshly post-shed. Hope she settles down a bit and stops bruising herself up.

Thank you! It's funny because boas I think just keep getting better with age, but it can be difficult to show that in photos sometimes. Happy I found where we had stored the better camera. :)

Thank you! The hard part for me is that we are now officially running out of space for more snakes, especially since I have two more on the way. Now the focus will be on getting everyone into PVC enclosures. :)

Re: Photos of almost the entire gang (with good camera, PIC HEAVY)
Thanks! I love the Cinnamon Enchi Ghost you have. :)
And I haven't seen Arya wedge herself in strange places lately, so hopefully she'll have a chance to heal. Any issues are also so much more noticeable on white snakes lol.

Re: Photos of almost the entire gang (with good camera, PIC HEAVY)
Thanks! The collection is definitely slowing down, now to focus on enclosure upgrades. And Dumeril's are the best. :)

The cinnamon combos are amazing!

Great group of Sneks  Love seeing Zelda.
But... where is Bridget?

Re: Photos of almost the entire gang (with good camera, PIC HEAVY)
Nice collection and I started mine with a pie bald also. My favorite is probably peaches.

Cinnamon is honestly one of my favorite morphs. We have a crazy cool looking Pewter double het pied/lavendar coming from JKR. And don't even get me going on Super Cinny's or Cinnamon Bamboos... 😍

Re: Photos of almost the entire gang (with good camera, PIC HEAVY)
She was already back in her cage, hiding out in a plant. I'm trying to keep her handling/life disruption to a minimum because she's only taken one meal so far. :(

OK, so I'm going to have you put my collection together. Don't think it could be done any better!

LOL, thanks! I'm a fan of all of them. :) It's funny because when I first started I had no idea on any of the morphs or genetics or anything. I've learned a lot but also still have a ton to learn. So thankful for the wonderful resources out there, including this site!

You got her in October and she's only had one meal in 2 months? This got to be a typo :please:

We got the Bredli in October. Bridget is the Granite IJ, we've only had her for a couple of weeks. :)

What a dummy!! I mixed Bridget with Zelda :rolleye2:
Either way I knew something was wrong, you're a good snake keeper :gj:

No worries, very easy mistake to make. I've added a lot of snakes in a relatively short period of time.

Wow Willow, I had no idea you had so many beautiful animals. Spectacular collection.

Thanks, Ziggy! That's a huge compliment, as you have a fantastic collection. It was photos of yours and Gio's and a couple other carpets on this thread that got me interested in Morelia to begin with. :)

What’s great collection WW! It’s hard to pick favorites with those beauties, but out of the BPs I like Peaches the most. :)

Re: Photos of almost the entire gang (with good camera, PIC HEAVY)
Gorgeous collection you have! All the folks on here with different Morelia really have me thinking about adding a carpet back to my collection...really enjoyed the carpets I had years ago.

Haha, I come back to this post and see that Peaches, despite her shyness, continues to be quite popular with her audience. And thank you! If Ignis's colors head anywhere in the same direction as Peaches (how old is she, by the way?) as he grows, I will be a happy camper.
Also, I agree that Cinnamon is just an awesome gene in general, especially the solid dark coloration of the Super Cinny.

Yes, there's something about the Cinnamon Enchis. :) I'm not sure on her hatch date other than she's a 2018, but she's maybe 200-250 grams, so not very old. I picked her up at Tinley in October and her breeder said at least 3 other people had asked to see her in the couple of hours the show had been open. I believe it, she's definitely a looker. Will be interesting to see how her colors change as she ages.
