Ok, y’all....I’m officially in love with a “danger noodle”. Picked him up today at an expo. and he is absolutely amazing. Not a hint of aggression. If I try to put him down in my lap he’ll climb straight up to my shoulders and just sit there. Can’t say enough about my lil’ buddy. A "firefly" is a ["pastel" plus "fire"] morph together. Yes, that explains the brightness! A firefly is usually a lighter bright than a pastel.

Ahhh ok, makes sense now. Yea, one of my wishes was it needed to kinda stand out with the colors even after he’s grown.

They are addictive. :D I’m just as excited now when I add a new snake as I was 27 years ago when I bought my first snake, a Colombian redtail boa. I’ve added several ball pythons this year, some of them morphs I’ve dreamed of owning for years, and a couple of banana combos after discovering those morphs this year. I’m just as excited as you are with your handsome new addition.

Thanks!! Yea, I've been doing research, watching videos, trying to separate the good from the ill-advised info....I've read 3 books in the past month. lol When the water gets murky I'll be hitting you guys up for sure.

Ohh wow....talk about close-minded. lol I was born & raised in the south so needless to say, just being "open-minded" will make you somewhat of an outcast. I know this has little to do with snakes but I just felt like I needed to share. :rolleyes: Thanks for the encouragement!

If you’re looking to save money, it’s best to stay away from Morph Market, Craigslist, and any reptile expos. They’re all a bad influence...as are we! :D

That is high. Yes. 92 is the goal. He's a beauty. Congrats! I got my first 4 (ISH) months ago and have two already. I'm currently batting my eyes and talking up this Banana Ball that I want [emoji23] But I have to make it his idea so it's not my idea [emoji848]

Yes, about 8* too hot! Do fix that A.S.A.P.

Definitely too hot. You want about 88 to 90 degrees on the hot side, 78 to 80 degrees on the cool side. A couple of questions:

1) Do you have a thermostat to control your heat source(s)?

2) How are you measuring your temps? I see the digital thermometer in the photo, but do you also have a temp gun?

Hi, and thanks for responding.

1) I do. I have 2 JumpStart thermos. One is for the UTH and the other is on the CHE on the other side.

2) Along with the 2 thermos mentioned above, I have a laser temp gun which I spot check throughout the day like an obsessed mother. lol
