I bought something special today....

I picked up this het pied male from EbN/BPM today. Great little guy, I think I got the best of the bunch. Here are some pics (they are linked from the BPM site...cause I was too lazy to take my own :)):

While I was there I also got to see a bunch of cool bps.... mojaves, a stripe, a lav. albino, pewters, the 'lesser', pieds, a woma.....some baby angolan pythons (they were awesome)....and some boa morphs. Pretty cool day today :D

ha ha....unless I hit the $300M powerball lotto tomorrow...no het pied females for me....i will be making poss. hets. next breeding season.....I figure he should be up to size next year and my normal female should topple 2000+ grams....so hopefully I will get a bunch of poss. het pied ladies :)

Have you considered 50% poss het pied females? I believe they are around $400.. you can check Fauna.

Thought about it.....but I would rather make my own (....much cheaper that way) :) I don't mind waiting either....and I think it will be cool to prove out my own babies :D

...yesterday was the first time I had seen one in person. It blew me away!! I am almost as eager to produce pieds as I am hypos now. :D

He just looks 'different' when compared to my other bps. Much darker color at top....but has alot of brightness near the belly...

cool looking guy, i've also noticed that alot of hets look different from ch or reg. normals too.

The little guy took his first meal tonight....a small hopper. He is only about 95 grams so I figured I would feed him a hopper this meal and next....then he is on to small adults. I have really lucked out with my new bps....both are great feeders :D
