New Ap 10 came today!

Got my new animal plastics all set up in my room.. my little guy is still too small for it but I am excited none the less. I think I’m going to go with that layout for the wood.. hide in each side and I ordered some silk ivy that I’m going to use to fill out the rest of the cage! Exciting stuff! Can’t say enough about their cages (this is my first one). I ordered it with door locks and had them install a pro product rhp.. Damian is soon going to be living like a king..

Update on him. Still not sure if he has a RI or not.. hasn’t made his hiss/wheeze noise in a few days but I made an appointment wed morning just to be sure.

Nice looking enclosure. Did you order a divider and where'd you find the branches?

Thanks! I did not order a divider and I picked up the branches at a reptile expo I went to in Sacramento a few weeks ago. I had originally planned on picking up a divider so I could split the cage for Damian while he is still small bu Ali from AP informed me it wouldnt work because of the RHP.

I may contact her about purchasing a pressure fit divider and see if I can get that to work while he is still small.

Is it because they installed the RHP in the middle of the terrarium? Can you reinstall it to the right or left of the terrarium? That's why I like RB RHPs because they're don't weigh as much and get installed with two screws.

Not 100% sure. It is offset to one side. I sent an email asking about a pressure fit divider so we shall see..

If the RHP is filling 1/2 the cage, not positive from your photo but it appears so, then you would have little to no temperature gradient. You can comfortably house a small snake in a large enclosure if you provide plenty of hides and ground cover (fake plants/vines, etc.).

I've got 5 T10's, a T8, and a T12 and really appreciate the quality and ease of use AP offers with their enclosures. Not to mention the incredible customer service.

Pro Products RHP's may/may not weigh more than RB's, I don't know as I only use PP, but all 7 of my PP install with 2 screws. It's not a matter of weight it's more what size RHP and where it's installed - I'm actually using a divider right now with one of my T10's that has 2-40W RHP's in it. Temp gradient is fine for a small snake.
