Hey everybody.. It's been a long while.

It's me! Giddy... I'm not sure when the last time I was on here was. Probably a very long time ago. But I've come back, I missed everybody on this forum so much, and I've been so depressed that maybe reaching out again will help me. But I'm 15 and a sophomore in high school now, and Dewey and I are doing fantastic.. it's actually almost his second birthday! He's become an amazingly social snake. He loves being taken out and has an extreme amount of curiosity for anybody that walks by him. He is STILL a fantastic eater (no meal refusals) and grew a LOT. Recently he has also found a job as an educational animal, as I actually bring him into reptile classes! The kids love him, and he is so perfect around them. If you guys wanna ask questions feel free, I'm sure y'all are a little boggled as to why I'm suddenly back.

OH and btw! He has his own Instagram now! @deweythedanksnake

yas, i remember u. your'e the gal w/ goats and a BP. a G-Stripe combo specifically which makes u apart of the cool club!

so glad that Dewey is doing well and u are doing reptile education!

OOooOoOoOo NICE! You can see how big he's gotten on his page haha.. And thank you! It's honestly so amazing to see younger kid's faces when I bring him out, and it's even cuter when he's so curious that he bops them in the face with his nose (they get a kick out of it, but are always gentle). It's good to be back! I remember you quite well

My hands have always been a bit full, hence why I sorta disappeared, but I did manage to clear up my schedule for this school year due to the dehabilitating amount of stress from last year.

Yes I can see he's grown so much! Such a healthy and adorable boy! I remember when you first got him from Garrick, it was around the same time I got Tapioca! Time flies! How much does Dewy weigh now?

Dewy's job sounds super gratifying! It's amazing how much kids love snakes when they're taught not to fear them.

I've always been unorganized and that did not work well for me last year (freshman year) so I had to hurry up and get organized this year. I guess I've never seen a picture of Dewy? For some reason I thought he was a normal morph. :confusd:

I still don't have a scale so I don't know his weight unfortunately :tears: but it is such a sweet thing to see

Nope! He's a fire genetic stripe, got him from Garrick DeMeyer back last October. you can check my gallery for some older pics

Hopefully you are taking a break from the stress and taking good care of yourself. Adults can sometimes be dismissive when a teenager complains about stress - but having a 14 year old daughter, I can attest firsthand you guys are under pressures I NEVER experienced when I was your age. It's a whole different ballgame these days.

So take a breather now & then and decompress! Dewey needs you ;)
