What is your fav color or pattern quirk?
i recent thread about ringers got me thinking about all quirks that can be found in pattern and colors. what is yo fav quirk?

imma try to list this is alpha order:

dichromatic eyes - meaning the left and right eyes are different colors like Skittles: https://www.morphmarket.com/us/c/rep...-pythons/81262

dinker - something unproven but new, cool, different or wierd and unexplained by current genetics and morphs: https://ball-pythons.net/forums/show...145701-Dinkers

chimerism - absorbed embryos combined to make a puzzle-looking snake w/ 2 or more visual genes like Skittles: https://www.morphmarket.com/us/c/rep...-pythons/81262

freckling - not the Banana/Coral Glow freckles, but like the freckles that develop in some Pied's: https://ball-pythons.net/forums/show...le-development

    headstamp - pattern on a BP's head: https://ball-pythons.net/forums/show...uess-the-morph

paradox - unexplained patterns or splotches on a snake kinda like a Chimera: https://ball-pythons.net/forums/show...145719-Paradox

ringer - disruption in a BP's pattern usually found towards the rear of the snake. the disruption may look like like a complete, solid white ring, melted pattern or blushing or in between: https://ball-pythons.net/forums/show...t-Of-Curiosity

shape found in pattern - like for example, a heart pattern on your snake's body or an indignant frog, etc. : https://ball-pythons.net/forums/show...nake-s-Pattern

ok i tried to provide simple explanations above (and probably didn't do the best job) and linked pix or threads for examples. i also separated chimera and paradox.

so what's your favorite color or pattern quirk?

I'm a headstamp lover. Me enchi clown has a nice one. And I love my super fly sugar girls lack of one!https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...d833b18d7b.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...188b1d4287.jpg

I can't imagine ever being lucky enough to own one, but I adore paradoxes. You mean to tell me I could have not one, but two of my favorite morphs in one snake? Sold! And no matter the morph they still are so fun to look at.

Wow, I've never seen a chimera snake before! So that gets my vote. It's like a patchwork blanket almost!

It won't let me edit my post for some reason, but I realized I typed Paradox when I meant Chimera, whoops!

I picked shape because it was the closest fit. I really have a thing for thin lines in a pattern.

My vote has gotta be paradox. It's like a spot of a completely different morph!

I am partial to this hypo-ish paradox, extreme ringer and just whacky pattern

I believe a Chimera is an animal that fused with another animal when eggs were fertilized so you essentially have two animals in one.

This is what comes up when I Google chimera ball python.

By far my favorite. When you see 2 genes half and half. 2 face lol!https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...0ccdf9d6ac.jpg
