Least Favorite Morph

This is just for fun, and is not meant to offend anyone who likes, owns, or works with particular morphs/projects. Obviously all Ball Pythons are beautiful, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, etc, etc.

Disclaimer aside, what's one morph you personally don't care for?

For me it's albinos. I don't like the red eyes.

Spider and Clown. :)

i do not hate them, nor would i not consider them in my collection, but i try to stay away.

The only Morphs I don't care for are the ones that are 'faded' so they constantly look as though they're in shed mode ... that seems like a negative move .. also the ones with faded heads that look as though they've spent hours rubbing their heads on something ..

Pastel Clowns....
The bodies can be really pretty, but spotted patterns on top of their heads Kinda freak me out.

(i have major trypophobia) :tears:

i don't care for Sable and Sentinel. too normal looking and i've waiting for a combo to blow me away.

Albinos
I still think they are beautiful, I’ve just never been into them. The high contrast ones are starting to grow on me though.

I dont like albino clowns for some reason.

I only don't care for morphs that I feel negatively affect an animals health and quality of life.

Won't name them due to controversy though lol...

I agree with many here, yet even though I have a spider in my collection ( rookie mistake) I have to agree she is my hardship when picking my next male. The others I’m missing when I have to consider her breeding

Having a spider is not a rookie mistake, spiders are awesome! Wobble is not as big a deal as everybody makes it to be. My spiders are my best eaters, have great dispositions and are gorgeous.

^ they beat me to it. having a Spider morph as a first beep is NOT a mistake at all! Spiders are anecdotally known to be FANTASTIC eaters compared to other beeps, so in that regard you chose well!

I personally really dislike pastel. Mostly because its like the craft glitter of the bp world. It goes everywhere!

For me I just get bothered how it is comboed with anything and everything. That being said, I have 4 snakes with pastel in them lol.
Now, if it didnt brown out like it often does, I would feel differently.

I’ll have to say champagne is my least favorite as well. They look like worms to me :rofl:

I’m also not a fan (in ANY way lol) of the morphs with very white heads but normal morphed bodies.. it looks like they have a bald patch and I just can’t lol!

I'll probably be crucified for this, but I'm not a fan of banana....I know I know, everybody loves bananas. But, they're not for me.

Oooh this is kind of fun, lol. For me it's Spider in general and Pinstripe when it's just the single gene on its own.

Albinos are "ugly" to me. I wouldn't want one in my collection, even if it was free. I don't know why exactly, they almost look sickly to me.

I'm really not a fan of how pinstripe morphs look. There's something about those super thin lines that are just not aesthetically pleasing to me.

Super Pastel (alone) and super stripe butters are probably my least favorite, but also bananas pink/yellow snakes just don't look real.

There are also some base morphs that I just don't get impressed by - vanillas, red stripes, black pastel and the like. To me I can't really see the difference in them and a dinker normal.

I have one female that has pin, but she doesnt show it. Mom has a lemonblast. I just for whatever reason do not like pinstripe.

Champagne, pied (come at me bro! Lol) spotnose and g-stripe.

I like lots of pattern and sometimes symmetry, none of these have that except the spotnose, and to me they just look like a normal and combos don't impress me.

Cinnamon and Champagne

Clown pieds love clowns like pieds but the mixture of the two receive genes does nothing for me:rolleyes:

Albino and pied just don't appeal to me.

Not a big fan of the Champagne or Cinnamon single genes but I like what they do mixed with some other genes. And the red eyes of Albinos creep me out.

Isn't it funny how we all have such different tastes .. I have loved the red/orange eyes of Albinos since I was a kid ... whatever type of creature it is ..

I'm not a huge fan of most pinstripes and champagnes I've seen, though there have been a few exceptions. I can see how the uniqueness would appeal, just not to me!

On a side note, I'm gonna have to go give my poor super pastel some love now, poor Ramen is self-conscious about his head now haha! :P

I knew a lot of people wouldn't care for champagne, but i am surprised at how many don't like pinstripe.
Question for people that don't fancy pinstripes, do you feel that way about all morphs or combos that create a solid stripe?

Super stripe, g.stripe, tri-stripe, potions that have solid stripe ect, Genuinely curious!

It depends on the stripe itself for me. If it fades into the rest of the morph like on the potions I've seen I don't mind it. There is just something about a bold continuous stripe that looks off to me though. It's not even that it looks bad, just that my brain says the snake shouldn't look like that and it wigs me out a bit.

I mentioned pinstripe since it's the one I've noticed the most, but the feeling applies to a lot of similar morphs for me.

I feel exactly the same about stripes on snakes ... I have a Butter royal with a 5" stripe from her neck down partly down her back and it kinda irks me somewhat.

Hmmm.

I think my least faves are Lori (it's... literally just a dark normal?), Champagne, GHI, and Lemonblast. In general, I tend not to like low contrast morphs so much, especially ones that looks muddy. GHI can look neat with other morphs, but on it's own is nothing special to me.

I think you just verbalized what I was feeling right there. It's almost like pinstripes are pretending to be a different snake and it just doesn't quite fit.
