....... a red neo GTP!! But i finally broke down and bought a little freezer. Called Glacier Rodents and talked to the owner and placed my order. It's a local place so its free shipping to a vet clinic by me for pickup. Ordered 2 1.5lb rabbits to see how Caesar likes them and to see how the size compares to Rosey. If it's not too big, then I'll be stocking the freezer with more 1.5lb rabbits for the them.

Still cant believe i spent money on a fridge when I got an empty 18x18x18 cube just screaming for a red neo GTP and an empty T8 screaming for a Peruvian or Suriname BCC lol :D

Haha true. I also finally bit the bullet and bought a mobile phone. Last time i had a mobile phone was almost 30 years ago with a flip phone. Everyone told me i needed one and now that i look around, there is actually no more phone booths. Aside from how Superman changes now, i cant make calls if needed. So i said 'if i 'need' a phone, i might as well go big'. I then went to Verizon and told them 'give me an ocean blue samsung note 9 with the full package' lol. So i guess its the best until next month when the note 9 8gig 512 ram version comes out but i'll have the second best lol. Sad part is really have no idea what the heck I'm doing with the phone. Had to have my manager and one of the techs at work show me how to do some stuff haha.

Hahaha right. I did hold out for years as I just couldnt justify the cost of a phone and monthly bills on it as i never really needed one. But yeah, I finally caved and then went on a rampage after getting the new job. I got the mobile phone, a 4k tv, and added an Xbox one X as i do like my video games :)

Good! I need to get one as our new fridge/freezer is smaller than where I lived before and now I have a rabbit supplier. Been feeding the smaller adult boas 7-9oz rabbits and they take them no problem. My big girl take the lb+ ones without issue. Yours should do good.

haha I'm a phone hold out as well. Dad gave me an iphone 4 a while back so I could have a 'smart' phone and get rid of my old Razr. Stuck with that until just recently when bf talked me into upgrading to the samsung 9.

Awesome. Yeah my big boa girl is about 7 feet. So hopefully something like a 1.5lb rabbit every 4-5 weeks will work. I dont think 8 foot Caesar the retic will have a problem with a 1.5lb rabbit lol. He is a total garbage can.

Lol, i didnt get the Fortnight skin. I guess you had to preorder them and i went in on the day they were released so no special skins or anything. I do have to say, it is kind of nice having the smart phone. I can do pretty much everything on it without needing to be by a computer or anything. Even can do the slick samsung pay thing with it.

Now watch, I'm probably going to get hooked on my phone and not be able to live without one haha.

congrats on the new job. sounds like it's a very good one and should help u fill those empty enclosures soon enough. Billy (Glacier Rodents) is a good guy. he will even sell you pregnant rodents/breeding pairs and give deals on bulk orders and a free cooler. my friend used to get 50 live rodents from him per week just for his collection. anyways a separate freezer is almost must have for a keeper w/ multiple snakes/reptiles... and a cell phone/smart phone is a must for all peeps.

Dude you’re gonna save money, time and what a convenience. Makes it that more easier to expand your collection. And I’m in total agreement about the need for video games. Far as phones go, there just a leash. I got an iPhone, half the time I don’t even know where it is, makes my kids nuts. Congrats on the freezer, you’re gonna love it.

I was used to it as when i was growing up, there was no smart phones much less mobile phones. There was also no real computers to speak of unless you are talking about a Tandy, Vic 20 or Commodore 64 with floppy drive and dial up modem lol. Heck i remember the first mobile phones from Motorrola that were bigger than a brick.

We used to just go outside and ride bikes, make jumps, go make rope swings in the woods, go shooting and stuff like that. I guess if you grew up in the tech era, then yeah, i can see the disappointment of not having a phone or laptop or something.

Well i was going to order from Perfect Prey but there is a guy kind of close to me that has a feeder business. A lot of people say his stuff is really nice and he does free drops to the local reptile vet up by me on Thursdays. So i dont have to pay any shipping, just drive to the vet who is open 7 days a week and just ask the receptionist for my order and then im done. Perfect Prey's shipping was going to be about 1/3 the cost of the order.

Yeah, i honestly only use the phone to play games on haha. I mean i pay my bills online with it and my manager is happy i got one as she had to use it when her phone broke and she needed to send some pics of the store to the district manager. She said this phone takes such good pics lol. She also got lucky i had it as she locked her keys in the shop and couldnt open the store so she had to call and wake me up to come down and unlock the shop haha.

I pay close attention to my phone though as the Note 9 was definitely not cheap lol. And yeah, i figure the fridge will pay for itself in about 2 months as it costs me about $100 a month to feed the crew and with ordering, i figured it now costs about $25 a month.

fyi, you can get the galaxy skin for yourself if you do play fortnite, just have to log onto your account on your new phone, the pre-order bonus was for the free vbucks (at least according to the bf)
