Meeting at NARBC show

I apoligize for making another thread on this, but I want to make sure no one misses it.

Ok, so we're going to try to meet up there. I think everyone said they are going Saturday (I am) and we'd meet at the NERD booth.

So y'all can find me easy I'll be wearing a shirt that has my drawing of Shelby my old BP on it. It's tan and it says 'Shelby' in green lettering below the pic. I'm tallish (lol) and I have long brown hair.

So.. what time do you guys think? I'm getting there before it opens so I can get in easier, just want to know when to head over to the NERD booth.

Thanks for starting this Shelby, I was getting ready to start one myself. Once I caught up on the threads. Cody and I will be there, how does 12:30 sound? I wil be the big (as in round) chick with the bald kid. LOL

lol, ok 12:30 sounds fine to me. I hope your son enjoys himself there.

where is the NARBC show?

Hopefully I'll recognize some of you going...I can't guarantee I'll be at the nerd table at that time though. I don't have the schedule of speakers in front of me but my wife and I are going to get in those. I have no clue what I'll be wearing but probably some cargo type pants and a long sleeve black shirt. I have short military type haircut (brown), gotee(sp), and silver hoop ear ring. My wife is significantly shorter (LOL) than I am also with brown hair. If you say TekWarren you will have my attention :)

Maybe we should try and post pics of ourselves for better recognition? There are people from several different forums that I participate in that will be there...no way I can remember everyone, but better chance if I have seen a face at least once.

Hey this is most recent, but small. Please note that Cody wanted to be like he's little friends next door. All five of them have shaved heads, their dad does it about once a month. My son came home looking like Ghandi when he had his glasses on. ;)

Sorry I didn't make it to meet you, Cody locked the keys in the house. He left his glasses and I sent them in to get them, he got them, but locked the keys in the house. Now nearly four hours later, we finally got into the house, but with the show still over an hour a way I won't make it. I was so looking forward to meeting up with everyone and seeing all the cool things at my first big show. *sigh*

Next year! Tomorrow is full of uncancelable plans.:(

you could come tomorrow! So far the only person I have really "met" is Alex Hue, he is from the same area as me...well we live an hour apart in MI. Anyways I've been by the NERD table a few times but not at the lunch meeting specific time. I have taken TONS of pics the mojority of them being balls. There are some AMAZING specimens here some I've never even seen/heard of/or read about. Oh yes I have pics to share...hopefully they come out, i've been keeping the flash off to prevent glare. Anyways the show is closing for the night, and we are chilling in the room. So far we picked up a basking bulb for my wife's dragons, a sulcata tort for a friend of mine, and temp gun from the tempgun.com table. I have eying a couple tables with childrens pythons. I have all the balls I want for now and was thinking of trying a pair of these as they are smaller species. There are only like 3-4 tables with this species and each with only a handfull of them. Kinda sucks I saw these guys for $75/pair at Indy two weeks ago and all tables but one have them for $75 EACH here...i'm like NO. One table has them for $50ea for both childrens and spotted. I'm hoping if he still has them tomorrow he might be more apt to cut a deal...if they are gone or he says no...oh well :P

Only person I met there was Kara. I thought maybe you didn't make it, Unimom.

we are waiting to head back into the show this morning. I need to retake a few pics as some of them didn't come out so good. Heard some breeders in elevator talking about lowering their prices today to lower stock...just as we had hoped. See what we come home with today :P

Did you see that albino green anaconda? It's very cool.

I did see it...although I can't remember if I took a picture of it! There where so many amazing animals there I literally walked around and around both days untill both my wife and I could barely walk any longer! If today ever slows down I'll get the pics uploaded to my website for everyone to see.

I managed to met Kara and Beardo. That was it (from this forum). I didn't catch this thread earlier :(

You guys might have seen me duck behind the Theraphosid Breeding Project table a few times though. I think I was pretty much the only asian chick there.
I was one of maybe 2? people on sat walking around with a "Get Bit" shirt on from arachnopets.

I'm definately staying at the main hotel next year.

lol.. yes and I enjoyed very much your talk on blood and short tail pythons. Your black Sumatran short tail is stunning.
