Power Ranger Fans...?!? GOLDAR

Calling all power ranger fans ...?

Admittedly I’m not a super fan, however my 4 year old son is and it blows my mind the longevity of some of these shows and series and all the spin offs.

Anyways... I’ve had a million and one changes in my life over the last year or so and it’s been quite the roller coaster. My most recent one is landing a new great job and I hope this is one of those moves that pivots my life and career into overdrive.

What better way to celebrate a big victory and change than with .... well a new snake of course.

I’ve had my eye in the drymarchon species for quite some time, of course due to the lure and beauty of the eastern indigo. I researched it and did my homework and talked to breeders, etc.

During my research I stumbled across a small time breeder out in Cali producing some very lovely black tail cribo. I’m big on a “connection” and going with my gut and feeling on things and this guy just sucked me in. When he was born he was a slow feeder unlike his siblings so the breeder really worked with him, took a liking to him and due to that he’s been handled a ton and is as sweet as pie and a true gem I’m told. Like many of my snakes he was going to be a holdback but he’s now going to be mine. Deposit down, however I’m having the reverse weather effect where it’s just too hot to ship so the waiting begins.

Say hello to Goldar( by the way for those who don’t know, he’s a villain in power rangers, pic below for reference and I’m sure you’ll see why I chose the name of you see or know what adult black tail cribo look like!)

uploading to streamable is the quickest way without YouTube IMO.

the job is well needed. The snake , not so much but couldn’t pass him up or think of a better gift for myself !

Great new addition! Absolutely perfect name! Haha it's been years since I've seen that character! I remember growing up with Power Rangers as a kid!

Thanks again all! I need to play around with the video thing Taylor suggested because I have a few cool videos of him from the breeder, both feeding and just some outdoor ones.

I sure do have a penchant for committing to animals during bad shipping times and I hate waiting! But need to do whats best for the animal, plus given my new job and all the training I need to focus here so its a good thing all around!

I'll make sure to post pics and all once he arrives with a much better title lol...

I am excited for 2 things as of now. One is having a snake that takes some extra effort to handle. Most of my snakes now are rather chill and don't really move around a ton when handled, which is all good. Will be nice to have this guy who seems very active and like a joy to handle. The other being the wide selection of food he will consume. It seems like he will eat just about anything you put in his path from fish, rodents, reptiles on down. So I truly look forward to that!
