only if they've managed to get poop all over them! or if there's some stuck shed i need to help remove.

bathing a snake is not necessary for a healthy animal, and can actually create a really stressful situation for them.

i think i've only ever bathed two of my snakes, and it was due to the situations i mentioned above.

    Why would you?

There is no benefit to it, it only causes stress which combined to other things could lead to health issues.

If your BP is dirty just use a wash cloth.

If your BP does not shed properly provide proper husbandry.

Makes sense. That’s what I figured. I was just reading something that was saying they really enjoy a nice warm soak. And I was thinking it may be wrong.

Does anyones BP make any squeak sounds when they are bathing? I give my BP a bath every time I notice he has gone to the bathroom and every time I put him in the water he squeaks. He does it 4-5 times then stops for a few then does it again. I was told its because he is happy. (which I doubt) I think its cute but it also worries me at the same time.

From which end? And no, B.P.s don't "squeak when happy" no matter what, and unlike some members here...;)

Back to your BP: a 'squeak' from tail is passing gas, & a 'squeak' from mouth is possible RI. Anything else needs oiled...

If this is a serious question ?

I don't really think you should be randomly soaking your Royal Python tbh ..

Usually if mine have a stuck shed, are covered In poop, or after I first get them home.
