from what little i know of the Super Russo, it's also called the White Diamond and it is supposed to be "the cleanest white ball python morph." in more recent years it's coming out that some of them do get some faint striping/patterning coming through. a forum member on here (i can't remember who) has a White Diamond and they were actually disappointed when it started to show some patterning. i'll try to find that thread.
i'll upload that pic for you here!

EDIT: i think it's a Super Russo, but i am far from an expert. :)
EDIT 2: found the thread!!!

No, you cannot know for sure. Could be a Super Lesser, Phantom + Lesser, Lesser + Mojave, Super Russo and more. There are many BEL complex combos that will make a white snake with some being whiter than others. What it is not is a Super Mojave they all have grey heads. You need to know what the parents are in order to nail this one 100%.
These are the snakes in the BEL complex from the OWAL site.
- Bamboo
- Lesser/Butter
- Mocha
- Mojave
- Phantom/Mystic
- Russo
- Special
These in various combinations make white blue eyed snakes.

Every time I think I have some sort of ID formula for the white snakes, I see a pic of a known breeding that breaks my rule. You can get closer to exactly what it is if you know how old it is and where in the shed cycle. When they are young they are whiter. As they get closer to shed, they tend to dirty up especially super mojaves. A fresh shed often gives a pinkish animal. Even more info can be had with a black light. I don't have Russo so I can only go by pics on that animal. I do have Phantom, Mojave and Lesser. BEL is hands down my favorite complex and I tend to like them regardless of how white they are. With any luck I should make 20 or 30 blue eyes snakes this year if you include purple passions.
The thing that hasn't been mentioned that can account for visible pattern on a white snake is the possibility of a third gene being involved that can contribute to the darker patches seen on the OP's images.
All that said, I have quite a few BEL complex animals, but oddly enough my whitest animal is actually a super yellow belly which as we all know is an entirely different complex. I have seen a lot of Ivories that are not as white as mine. My point being there is a lot of variation even among animals that have the same morph combinations.

i wanted to suggest this but i'm really ignorant to the BEL complex morphs!
that whole post was a great read, thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts.

No problem. What I believe I know I share. I am going to have a bunch of different white snake combos this year. I will throw some of them up here and we can play the game of what the heck is this.

could be a Super Russo/White Diamond. however i would really second guess the purchase itself if u cannot confirm the animal's genetics and need to ask for opinions or breeder/seller's rep. Jodan sums up everything really well in regards to BEL's. could be a Super Russo but IMO it looks more like a Karma (Butter/Lesser x Mystic/Phantom) w/ that feint off-white pattern. in the end, don't take the snake just b/c it was offered to u. get the snake that u really want and would be happy with.

I've said this in a bunch of posts but in my experience, super russos are almost never solid white so I dont know how they got that "whitest white" reputation. I agree with previous posts that its not a good sign if you couldnt trust who you purchased it from but we cant say for sure without knowing the pairing (and of course if the parents were labelled correctly).

There are to many combo's that make a White/White-ish snake.
Vin Russo himself told me his were the cleanest and that the pictures he sent me "Speak for themselves". Well that couldn't be farther from the truth. Although her disposition is Excellent, calm and inquisitive, the morph being the whitest or cleaner of the BIL's is quiet the opposite. In a good light she has as much yellow/dirty tinting as my Albino and it has a pattern not just a stripe. Ive found this to be true now after contacting others with his White Diamonds. Im a Pet home and never have or will be a breeder but i do find it terribly unethical for him to tell people this. He is here in NY where I'm from and I spoke with him for over a year and was on a list to purchase as all my Snakes (Burms & Balls) came from the Old School breeders like Brian Sharp, Bob Clark etc...Ive never impulse bought a snake. I always want to know what im getting.

The whitest of my BEL's is a lesser/mojave, she shows no dirt but she has a yellow dorsal. The whitest of the BELs I own or have seen always have lesser in them.

Thank you very much for your answers and recommendations. Indeed, translucent spots are more similar to the signs of another morph, which manifested themselves according to Mendel's law.

Re: Soper russo
I will be making some BELs this next season with Lesser x Mojave and I agree that they always seem to be the cleanest to me, as well.
