    Final necropsy on dead noodles
Just got the final necropsy report, as well as a fecal float that was done on the 4 dead snakes I had bought from those people. Turns out they each had 4 different strands of rare salmonella that they can only get from the food they eat. Seeing how none of our snakes prior to buying these have had any issues I can finally rule out it being my fault or my rat suppliers fault. Also the Pied that died had not eaten with us. So final conclusion is we were sold really sick snakes and it was due to no fault of my own that they died. That is a relief as I started questioning myself on how I was taking care of my noodles.

It's really confirms what I suspected from the start & I'm glad you can rest easier now too. Sad anyway, to go thru that, but at least not your fault.

Yeah for sure, it wasn't a cheap venture, 200 per snake for necropsy and 100 per for vet visit

Good job for getting the necropsies and that you got closure on their deaths. Poor things never had a chance but at least their last days were spent getting decent care.

It they each had 4 strands of the same rare salmonella, I suspect the seller either has had, or will have, other sick or dead snakes. Too bad you couldn't talk to others who have purchased from him in the last month or two. :-( So sad that there are people out there who choose to treat other people (and snakes) so badly. I'm so sorry you had this experience.

I have to go and look what the company name is, I know they aren't doing ball pythons anymore they are moving to white lipped.

I wonder of you can persue legal action regarding them if the seller refuses to refund as They say it's not thier fault.
Especially following the necropsy and final diagnosis. I'm fairly certain the vet who had seen them can confirm the illness was too advanced to be something you had done and that they were sent to you carrying this disease

I'm sorry you had to go through this. Sometimes that final closure is needed. As well as the peace of mind that it isn't something to worry about with your other noodles.

Any discussion of who the seller is should go into the Inquiries/Feedback forum at https://ball-pythons.net/forums/foru...iries-Feedback and the Fauna BOI at http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/foru...splay.php?f=13

I'm really sorry you had to go through all this. I am glad, however that you've got closure and can rest easy knowing there was nothing you did wrong and nothing you could have done to save these animals.

The seller seems like a real piece of crap. After the necropsy results they should have done the right thing, taken accountability and refunded your money, as well as offered a sincere apology for all you went through.

Sharing the seller's info as well as details of this story in the inquiries/feedback section as well as fauna would be helping others to avoid this seller and all the unfortunate headaches and heartbreak you have had to deal with.

Anyway, I'm glad this nightmare is behind you (with the exception of any legal action you may decide to take) and at least now you know.

I truly wish you all the best moving forward. Good luck.

Im sorry about your new additions. I missed the back story but agree that Id look into legal action since the vet report is pretty cut and clear they came to you already sick. Maybe even send the seller an email or give a call to offer them the chance to refund you on their own before you take legal action. Id just make sure you don't back down and make it clear the vet reports dont lie, they will lose.

Please DO put in on BOI- Fauna Classifieds (etc) as bcr229 suggested above.
