Enyo - official progression thread

Settled on a name finally.

Carrying on using the names of Greek gods and goddesses, settled on Enyo, the goddess of war and destruction [emoji16] seems to fit a retic if I say so myself.

Have been wanting a retic for the longest time, even before wanting ball pythons, finally in a position where I have the room and finances to have one of these beautiful animals. So far, in the short day I've had her, absolutely in love with her, so different from a ball python.

The few pics from tonight arent that great, battery was low on my phone, but I plan to get her outside tomorrow for some nice daylight pictures before it gets too hot out.

Also got to feed her tonight not too long ago, the girl that handles feedings said today was her scheduled day to eat, so with the short drive we had today it wouldnt hurt to offer her food tonight, and she took her first meal with me.

She looks so nice. So happy she is doing well. She even gave a rat a hug. One of many more to come.

LOL, love the name. My two female savu's are Enyo and Eris, and for precisely the same reason.

She come out of her hide lil bit ago, so had to get some daytime shots in the good sunlight. Nothing too crazy so far, just getting use to the, "my cage is open so wheres the food" attitude lol. She does calm down very quickly once I get her out and hand on her.

Felt the 20g tank is just too small for her, already stretches across it and a side wall, so I went ahead and ordered a 4x2 cage from RBI. Hopefully that will be here within a week like last time I ordered racks from them.

She looks so happy. :D

So her 4x2 came in yesterday, got it all set up and although shes in shed, she seems to love it in there. She explored a bit and finally found her warm side hide, which is where she us at now. Can definitely tell she has grown some and getting a nice muscle tone. She is, colors are starting to pop a little more too. Definitely nice to have a couple snakes that actually want to come out to you and be right on top of ya lol. When shes on that table she will stretch over to the couch to get back on me.

She looks great.

Yeah shes awesome, hoping she stays under the 10 ft mark, does have a lil jampea blood in her but shes 75% kalatoa. We shall see, shes closing in on 5 ft and eating 2 small rats every 10 days. May try her out on a medium rat next week, not sure yet.
