Craigslist score!
Just talked to the guy, $50 o/bo. Going to pick it up tomorrow. Looks pretty much flawless and he said it's barely used.
I'm not even sure I'll try to talk him down. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...b23492b67e.jpg

Nice pick up. What’s going in there ??

Re: Craigslist score!
Very nice! What the plan!?
-
Glass front? or plexi? Nice deal, either way.
-
Very nice:gj: congratulations on finding it can not wait to see it all set up :D
-
Thanks all.
Glass front.
I'm not exactly sure who's ending up in it yet. But I'm thinking Juice (Borneo STP) will do well in it for now. He's likely to outgrow it I think, so it may be a stepping stone before his "forever" enclosure.
It will depend a bit on which direction I go with my next snake too.
I'll be sure to post some pics when it's all set up. I'm excited to take my first step away from glass enclosures. I still like glass, but as the collection grows I'd like to simplify things a bit where I can.

Very nice, they’re all I used for years. Awesome.

On the road in just a few minutes!
It's only about an hour each way, not too bad.
-
Bought and headed home. It's in great shape. It just needs a bath airing out and it'll be ready to go.

Nice find! 36" will work for lots of not-too-big species, or as a stepping stone for bigger guys on their way up.

I'm leaning towards putting Tyson (male BP) in it. He's about 2 years old now and just over 800 grams. I'm thinking he'll never outgrow it.
My other thought was putting Juice (Borneo STP) in it, but he'll outgrow it at some point so maybe I'll just keep him in the 40 breeder and find him a 4 footer...

Yeah, that's plenty of room for a ball, especially a male. How big is Juice now?
I have a 4x2x1 that I'm planning to use for a short tail, just keep waffling on what kind to get.

He just started eating again after taking early Jan- early June off. But he's eating again, so slowly packing on the grams. He was 694 the other day.
I absolutely love him. I'm thinking about adding a second STP for my next addition.

Sorry, still a tech moron.

Re: Craigslist score!
So I got the enclosure all set up and Juice is moved in.
I decided to give it a paint job, cause I just like black, plus I painted it to match Django's enclosure since they're now stacked.
So after a super clean and a paint job I let it air out for a full week. The smell of paint was gone in 5 days, but I figured another couple days wouldn't hurt.
After another thorough clean I set it up and got temps dialed in.
Juice moved in a few days ago and has already eaten.
So far, I'm loving it! Definitely 50 bucks well spent!https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...8441a7df97.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...cf630686d3.jpg

Thanks Puns! I'm really happy with it so far. And I think I made the right call with the "hammered" look spray paint. I love it.
