Darby's Progression Thread -Roswell Laddertail Boa
Here's a thread in honor of my favorite snake I own, my boa.

    When he arrived:

After almost a month of not coming out of his hide:

And tonight: (He's more chill now)

Great looker and seems awesome and calm, like most Boas.

I imagine he eats pretty well?

How old and how much does he weigh now?

    Looks great.

Good on you for letting him hide for a long time.

He'll be the better for it from here on out.

Oh yeah crazy food response, he already hit the glass once...I walked too fast in front of him.

He's 2 years old and I haven't weigh him again... he's only fed 5 times with me. I was going to weigh him in August.

A few nights ago I opened the glass door and put a fan on him. He seemed to like it, he stayed there for a while.

    Can't forget this awesome fella.
Got a baby snake today and is always so exiting getting new snakes, but I cannot forget about my Darby. Love this boa!

    I few facts:
He'll turn 4 years old in 2 weeks. He's been with me for almost 2 years (May 2, 2018). He came in weighing 270 grams and today he weighs 1080 grams. He has been eating a 80g rat once a month during the winter. I feed him conservatively and I feed a little more in the summer (once every 2-3 weeks) as opposed to once a month during the winter. He's very healthy and feels very muscular when I take him out for some handling.
I haven't posted a picture of him for over a year so I wanted to do an update. :D

For you that's a thank you and another big Thank You. I always remember the feeding advice you gave dakski in his "Behira -2016..." thread. Is post #53 and I always have referenced it when I wasn't sure what/how often to feed my boa. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
