    Manchester, NH expo
I'll be heading to Manchester this Sunday for the expo. Anybody else going?

I'm planning on grabbing some mice and rats, checking out some enclosures and looking at carpets, boas and STPs.
I'm not planning on bringing a snake home, but quarantine tank is ready just in case...

So, who else is going and what are you looking for???

I'm going again-I've been to every Manchester one for many years now. I think I've seen you there before Muwahaha!

I'm looking for a male VPI Axanthic Bee/Killer Bee. I saw a hatchling a year ago-so I know someone is producing them (other than NERD).

One of the guys that is always against the wall with the outside windows always has very nice pied combos and a lot of candy/toffee based morphs which always tempt me, but, I've stared at the same Spied/White Wedding hatchling ball pythons he has had for the last 4 years and they don't appear to have grown 1 inch-I can't give that guy any money in good conscious...

My gf wants to pick up a Northern or Eastern BTS and we spoke with one breeder who will be attending the Expo and she wants $500 each (which...seems a bit steep).

    30/70 That I attend.

It's a hike for me from CT, but Katie is going to be at a Bachelorette party. So I might go!

I am not looking for anything, certainly alive! All full up with the recent addition!

Would be nice to meet some cool BP.net peeps though.

I'll keep everyone in the loop!

I paid $475 for Frank (my Northern BTS), but he was about a year old and established. Either way, he's awesome. As long as you give them the room they need and proper temps, they thrive! They also have great personalities.

Thanks, I have no problem dropping $500 on a reptile, but, my gf has been reading old posts online where people sell the offspring for $150-200 and thinks she is getting ripped off at twice the going rate of 2011.

    "It's supply and demand Baby"
'Fine then, I won't buy one, and then the price will go down.'
"It might take a few years"
    'I can wait.'
"So.....that T11 cage I got you for Christmas is just going to sit there empty for a few years?"
    'Yes.'
*sigh* an empty enclosure is so depressing...

I can't resist the lure of filling an empty enclosure. The setups are sometimes more expensive than the critters. If the enclosure is already there it's just a short matter of time before a new snake goes in. :snake:

Sweet!!! I've only been once (Jan 2017) but you may have seen me, hahahaha.
It would be great to actually meet some BP.net friends, so hopefully we'll bump into each other.

If you have a BP.net t-shirt that would help you guys spot each other. I wore mine to a local show and had people stop me to talk. By the way, is there any new shirts available?? Mine is worn out.

I've been asking for BP.net shirts since March of 2017

The wife and I went the last time they had it there. We had a blast looking at all the different stuff. Very hard to walk out of there without another reptile. Sadly we are unable to make it this time around.

Yup, definitely not easy to walk out empty handed...

I plan to be at the show.

There is small chance I am too exhausted tomorrow - been doing a lot lately, and do not go.

However, I will post here when/if leaving.

I plan to be at the show by 11:30AM-Noon. It's over 2 hours from here.

I will be wearing this shirt and standing near the parking ticket machine (front left of the room after you enter the main doors) at Noon.

I figure not many people will be wearing a German Turbo shirt that's bright red.

Anyone planning to be there please post here or PM me and come say hello at Noon.

    Looking forward to meeting everyone.

    Take care and be well.

@dakski it was great meeting you in person!

So I ended up coming home empty handed. Well, not entirely, but no new snake. Nothing I saw was a "must have" so I'm waiting for now.

I just stocked up on some F/T and grabbed some substrate. I'm gonna need a chest freezer sooner than later. I grabbed some substrate too. The search continues for the next snake to join the family though

LOL! Katie said a chest freezer not in the kitchen was mandatory. Really need the space of one anyway.

    So works out.

Hahahaha, my freezer is about 25% snake food. Time for a chest freezer. I've got a perfect spot in the basement already picked out for it
