    Underrated!!!!
These guys don't get enough love in the hobby, especially from the giant keepers. Don't sleep on the Olives y'all. ;)

They are very pretty. i like the how simple their color is. Where do you typically find these for sale? It seems they are hard to find?

Lol you know how many times i have said 'what happened' when i opened a snake box......actually only about 2 times surprisingly lol. For someone with a lack of willpower, i have fallen into most of the snakes i planned on getting one day. Only unplanned ones were the dumerils and salmon DH sharp snowglow BCI. But i dont regret them, love both Luna and Rango.

Man, Nigel really is a spectacular beast. I freaking love olives. They'd be at the top of my bucket list if fate hadn't brought me a little scrub that looks so much like one.

I did some looking for kicks and finding one of these for sale in the US is not easy. I did see one site selling them for 4k to 4.5k. There is a store in Australia that has one for $350.00

If only $350 I might one day add to my collection but paying for shipping would kill me. LOL Know of any US breeders?

@ Sky- They aren't too hard to find and there are a lot of good US breeders. You shouldn't have to pay more than $400 max. My guy was produced by Jeff Hartwig from Jeff Hartwig Reptiles. Sonja Koolmo at Sonja K. Reptiles and Nick Mutton at Inland Reptile also breed them. They're great animals to work with. They're big critters with a fierce feeding response. Mine is very well tempered and really fun to handle. We really do need more of them in the hobby. :)

I would love to own an olive python one day. We had one at our shop, and boy did he have some spunk! He's residing with one of our friends now, but he was beautiful.

    Gorgeous snake!!!

Sky- You can email Sonja at koolmosonja@gmail.com . She hatched some Olives a few weeks ago. I spoke with Nick Mutton and he has a male and 2 females. Not sure what Jeff Hartwig has but he usually has them too. His email address is pvjeff@gmail.com .
