Wierd question
A couple of my snakes in quarantine have diarieh, should I be worried ? I just got those about 2 weeks ago. All but one of the snakes had eaten, they are showing no bad signs, and they are going into shed.

Re: Wierd question
I have a vet appointment coming up

Re: Wierd question
I wouldn't Vet until you have identified that the problem is Chronic or if you notice an impact to the health of the snakes with the issue.
I would maintain quarantine indefinitely until the problem has been resolved for at least a few months.

Copy that, longer quarantine it is, they've had this issue since I got them 2 weeks ago

Diarrhea IS a "bad sign". It can kill animals (including humans) by dehydration if it's severe...so yes, I'd take them to the vet asap with fresh stool samples.
Very suspicious too that all your snakes from that source have it. Longer quarantine for sure.....I hope they make it. BTW, going into shed is what snakes
do when they are sick or injured, it's an attempt by their bodies to repair something. So while all healthy snakes do shed & it can be perfectly normal, the
fact that these all have diarrhea and are going into shed is significant. They are sick.

Copy that, I hope they'll be ok, all but one of them are eating, the one Het clown had just shed a perfect shed, the other 2 are in shed and the 4th has not eaten for me yet, that's 4 out of 8 of the snakes I got from this place that are sick.
And the het clown that had the full shed has a bit of blood on her paper towel

That "bit of blood" is very significant, tell the vet & go asap. I would NOT assume that ANY snakes from that source are OK.

I hope everything goes ok, good luck.
I second not believeing a single snake from that source is ok. I would get in touch with them once the vet figured out what is going on as well.
Also, I am dissapointed.... I was looking forward to something relatively weird. :/

i just want to chime in here: while OP's snakes are obviously dealing with some sort of issue, sometimes when a snake sheds, the skin pulling away from the cloaca causes it to get irritated and possibly bleed a bit. it's not too common, but it does happen; it's happened with my oldest male once before. that's likely where the blood came from.
still, diarrhea is not something to take lightly IMO.

I have the other 5 snakes marked in quarantine separated from my other quarantined snakes. I hope they are ok, it's my pied and my clown hets that are being effected

I hope they are ok, the pied was meant to be for my little girl for her forever snake ( that's what we call our snakes that aren't gonna be strictly for breeding)

Sorry, but I'm not buying that for snakes with diarrhea...and I've had an awful lot of snakes for decades, but I can't recall one ever bleeding from a shed.
Let me be clear: I'm not discounting your observation in your snake...who knows what that was about? but I am very concerned for the OP's snakes & I
wouldn't want to minimize the issues his are having.

Re: Wierd question
Sounds like a parasite. Other than overheating stress, the only other times I've personally seen diarrhea in any reptile has been parasite related (although I have seen dietary indiscretion give tortoises / terrapins loose and watery stool - but usually after being fed way too much fruit, so not what your snakes got going on).
Make sure you keep a sample of the stool- not on a paper towel - it can't dry out to be viable. If your vet is not a reptile specialist (small animal vets that "see" reptiles may not always think to send fecals out) - ask if they can send out the fecal to a lab for culture. Something like crypto, giardia, or coccidia can't always be seen on regular fecal centerfugation / fecal floats. If the snakes are large enough, blood-work would also be helpful - make sure liver/kidneys are functioning, no anemia, no sign of high white cell count from infection etc
