Just trying to get some opinions on potential pairing?

The females are GC het for White & purple albino
An a Citron.

What I'm liking in potential males are..

Lavender Motley
Lavender Sunfire
Lavender Motley sunfire
Lavender platinum
Lavender Citron
Lavender sunfire tiger

Robert I'm assuming you are breeding to sell. So, I will base my post on that. I notice that your GC is het albino. It can't be het white & purple just one. Basically lavender can't be a het its completely visual. Hets can only be white or purple. Since I'm assuming yours is het albino you simply won't know which it is het for (white or purple) until you breed her. Anyways, if it was me I would not purchase a Lavender male, but instead a purple. Simply because the market tends to favor purple over white & lavender albinos. My intentions of purchasing a purple over lavender male would be to avoid producing white albinos.

Also, regarding your citron. Citron is het titanium if you were not aware, and in this case if you are wanting to take advantage of that gene you will need to buy a citron (het titanium) or a titanium male.

My female is from a GC lavender male to a tiger female so she is 50/50 split for white an purple albino.. .

Ya I'm aware of the Citron Gene. Their are a few people I'm aware of working with lavender Motley possible het for titanium .. not necessarily looking to work with titanium but have seen what the Citron Gene has done to change up a few morphs like the Sunfire , motley antiger so the Citron alone is a good fo me in that matter......

Yes, he is het for either white or purple like SMV said.

Basically here is how it works...
white+white=white
white+lavender=white or lavender
purple+purple=purple
purple+lavender=purple or lavender
lavender+lavender=white or purple or lavender

A purple+white will yield either a lavender which is visual or het white or purple which you wont know until you breed it to a het of one or the other. This applies to Clark strain.

And i disagree with SMV, there are a lot of people i have talked to who actually prefer white albinos. There is plenty of a market for all 3 strains, it boils down to what the breeder likes and wants to breed.

Where does the Mochino fit in I heard that is a different strain of albino? I could have misunderstood won't be the first or last time;) And awesome information on the albino morphs so Ceaser is lavender right

Yes purple is no more popular than white...
I did a poll on a retic community on Facebook back in December an lavender was the most popular with purple an white about even.. I don't remember exact numbers... It was like 80 people voted an 30 choice lavender rest were white an purple ..

Well, lavender can make both so it would make sense it would be more popular from a breeders standpoint. You could cater to all 3 markets with them vs only catering to either white or purples the other way. But again, it boils down to the breeders preference on what they like as they are breeding them. I personally like all 3 and wouldnt say i prefer one over the other.
