    Finally got some eggs!
And it was worth the wait! 10 healthy eggs from my pastel desert ghost. She was paired with a pastel leopard het desert ghost mostly but also a couple times with a ghi het desert ghost. With this size clutch unless the odds really don’t go my way, I should hopefully end up with at least a couple really nice desert ghost combos. I’d really love to get a super pastel leopard desert ghost and a pastel ghi desert ghost but I’ll be happy with any combos as long as I get at least a few visuals. I’m just really happy with my girl producing 10 healthy eggs her first season.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...3457f54277.jpg

Congrats Ruf! That's a huge first clutch. May the Odds Gods be with you. What temp do you incubate at?

    Thanks guys!

I’ve only had one clutch before this but I had 100% success rate so I will continue to incubate the same and that was at 89.0 temp and 99 humidity. I use a herpstat so it stays very consistent within .1. I believe they pipped at day 54, all fully developed and no egg sack remaining. They took about 5 days to all come out after pipping but I just waited patiently for them all to come out on their own. After the first pip I did cut all the rest though.

Here’s mama when I found her with her eggs, could barely see an egg, amazing how they make them into a ball and perfectly wrap them. I’m happy she already took a couple small rats last night.

Good luck on the visuals. She looks like a very proud mama.
