Both Cliff and Ike are awesome breeders but I'm going to have to give the +1 to Cliff Earle at Living Gems. He's local to me and I've met him many times and occasionally get feeder mice from him as he breeds those as well. He's an awesome guy and a wealth of knowledge. He's one of those breeders that if you ask a question, he'll answer it with several paragraphs. Just the nicest guy in world, so you know you'll be supported throughout the life of your pet.

Plus his BRBs are gorgeous. :)

    Hahahaha, happens to me too.

Anyway, I have interacted with Cliff from Living Gems on several occasions, both by a email and over the phone. The ONLY reason I didn't buy a BRB from him is that I went another direction and added my Borneo STP instead of a BRB at that time. If I do end up going BRB in the future it will definitely come from Cliff. He's awesome!! Great to talk to, very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and his passion is obvious when speaking to him.

I know who I'm going through then ! Because I'm not trying to breed them, I just want one as my personal pet, I'm in love with how they look.

Yeah, they're gorgeous animals. I keep going back and forth with what I'm adding next, and a BRB from Cliff is still right at the top with a few others.

Are you planning on going with a normal or a morph?

I haven't really seen any morphs that impress me, to me the normals are beautiful just themselves

I seriously don't see the appeal of the morphs and they are generally so much more $$$. I don't know how you improve upon a normal - they are so instensely beautiful!

I had a great experience with Ike Lightener (Spazhime also got hers from him)...got this high red in Oct. and he's growing very well. We still keep in touch, that's important to me in the breeder customer relationship, communication is paramount.

Hmmm, you may be right. I am only judging by pictures and I know those don't always capture the true beauty.

wow that is gorgeous! I love the normals too but that one is definitely a stunner. Gonna be a few years still before the price of BRB morphs come down though, even the CRB Lucy's are still way expensive IMO. It seems from my research that a lot of the BRB morphs are being kept under wraps until fully proved out, but you see things pop up here and there

High-color morphs I can understand, but at Tinley a guy had either anery or albino BRBs. They did have some iridescence, but just weren’t as pretty as normals!

I'm told the darker the color the better the iridescent
