So glad you posted this thread. I was thinking about you today as I was going through my old threads in wanting to purchase my 1st Boa. I'm still waiting on my AP cage to come which I ordered over 4 months ago :( And then I was going to start seriously considering a dwarf boa. Was originally thinking a Hog Island but your Caye Cauker is just beautiful. Plus I visited this area on vacation a couple years ago so it only make sense.....
Where did you get her again? How big were her parents? What type of enclosure do you have her in?

Well now I am extra glad I posted !!
why so long on the cage ?? Geeez 4 months !!
thas so cool you visited there!! See any??
yea this girl is just amazing. Her colors and pinks are lovely and she changes colors a lot and is a total sweetheart!! I love hog islands too but a lot these days seem to be crossed out.
I got her from a boa breeder named J.K. Exotics he breeds BCI mostly. He had her and a male that he was growing out and going to breed and then decided to focus elsewhere and she became available and I got lucky I guess. Love her.
Unfoetuantley i I don’t know anything about the parents. She’s currently living in a very branchy 2x2x2 pvc cube w a RHP, and a UTH

AP cages are notorious for taking a long time. Luckily, I haven't been in too much of a hurry.
Didn't see any snakes in Caye Caulker but then again I wasn't looking. It's been only the last year that I caught the snake bug :)
I'll be sure to check out J.K. Exotics. Any idea how big she is going to get? I've never owned a Boa but it would be nice to see in person the difference between the sizes? I definitely don't want to regret going to big or small for that matter.

Most things I’ve read say about 5 feet or so give or take but not as thick as your traditional boas per day. Now I just got a Dumerils boa and he’s already a big boy!!
from what I’ve read and heard many dwarf locality boas stay similarities in size male to female where most other types of boas the females get much bigger

The pictures don’t even do her justice ... I know people always say that but it’s true she’s almost this greenish blue it’s crazy and the way she goes from light to dark is very cool. Her pinks are great as well

Amazing looking boa! She seems so light, Ive never seen a boa quite that light, its awesome looking. And like everyone said, I think boas are making quite the comeback lately. I just don’t think you can beat the combination of perfect size and personality.
