You are too funny!! The kid selling him is in school, snake is at home yada yada long story short I’m waiting on better photos, but I’ll probably make it over there before then lol. you Guys are all really close to the claim, he says he’s a butter enchi GHI. I definitely see butter, GHI alien heads I’ll nod at, enchi? Hm... we will see. He’s got a banana enchi, and female pied I’m “going to see” as well quarantine enclosures May or may not be set up.

Thank you you all for the replies I’ll keep you posted!

lol. My son did want a green snake!! Hope he’s not angry, I wouldn’t like him when he’s angry 😂

No photos, he said Saturday, and I’m heading down there Sunday. It will determine if the trip is worth it, it’s another hot south if where I’ll be. Buuuuut another female pied will work nicely with what I already have. So that’s convincing In itself.

yeah i thought there might be a BEL gene in there b/c of the phat dorsal striping but i'm surprised how light the colors are. usually BEL x GHI are dark including Butter/Lesser. i guess that's the influence of the Enchi? i def see Enchi pixels tho.

congrats. looking forward to more pix of this animal and whatever else u pickup lol.

Banana enchi. I’m old school so he looks more coral glow to me.

they can use some weight and I’m a little nervous that they’re in a basement, ambient temp might not be perfect But it’s a risk I’m willing to take. They go into quarantine tomorrow :)

Also a side note on the butter, I can see he Live Photo on my iPhone so his head isn’t dropping weird, he was just turned, and he is mid motion. I was concerned.

I can't say I agree with enchi lesser ghi on "Bruce" has at least pastel and with that head I'd say super pastel or Firefly lesser ghi( could be just me tho.) possibly even vanilla cream ghi. Be a fun project to figure out. best of luck on it.

i thought the same thing. I don’t see the enchi in him. Either way I’ll plug both males into my pied project and see what happens. :)

i can see specking/pixels that would carry over from Enchi into GHI. i think a BlackEL complex gene is a good theory given a gene like Fire can have similar speckling but the shape of alien heads make me agree more.

Lol guys there in a basement!! Looks like a tube of some sorts. I picked these babes up, and they are rough. Not sick, just skinny and dehydrated. I’ve got them In quarantine and will post photos once they settle. When I put them in their enclosure they went straight to the water dish and drank deeply. The pied is mid shed of a shabby shed, I cracked her tub this afternoon and she perked up like she was hungry. I offered a medium f/t mouse and she took it voraciously.

The banana is very calm and the healthiest of the bunch.

The GHI is very active and settling in nicely.

One solid week in and these babies babies are not healthy they DID all take a f/t mouse this week which is a start.. The pied is the worst off, she had some red/brown scales that I attributed to an injury from live feeding. Then it clicked that she has scale rot, although it is in an unusual spot, all along her back and sides. All three are undergoing treatment. What concerns me is that she has a wobble, complete with corkscrews. I don’t have her genetic history but it is exacerbated by excitement, so when she has her betadine bath she’s a wobbly mess. To me it looks like a spider wobble. But I don’t see spider in her pattern.

I dont regret getting them, this pied was on limited time, they are in quarantine and I wash with chrlorohexadine after I am around them.

    Kudos to you
    You're doing the lord's work.

It warms my heart to see that somebody who cares rescued those poor creatures from what were clearly substandard conditions.

Just those pics of the basement should've set off alarm bells. I keep snakes in my basement also, but it doesn't look anything like that!

    Looking forward to updates.

    Best to you!

The corkscrew can be from neurological damage as well. Could have gotten too hot, could be infection, could be parisites. You have probably thought of that already though.

Given her skin condition I believe she was kept at too high of temperatures. After a few days of soaking and salving the red scales began to slough off, turns out it was a retained shed, perhaps with an infection underneath? Inappropriate Heat would cause her wobble and scale issue. She has eaten 3x for me already.

The ghi combo sheds clear. He is a mystery!

    Thank you for your input!
