Albino(lab) rats VS Fancy Rats

Hi i was wondering if there is any litter size difference between the albino(lab) rat and the fancy rat?

Lab rats typically have larger litters.

But.. white rats are boring.. and my fancy rats typically have between 10-15 babies every month. Isn't that enough?

well im breeding them for a guy 45 minutes away from me so id ont no because he supplys his local people but thank you for responding I very aprreciate it.also do lab rats get bigger than fancy rats?

They're the same size.

I plan on keeping about 4.14 to 3.10 rats i will be breeding them for the local and some people away from me. what is the best way to cycle them?

Cycle? Just keep one male with however many females all the time.

ok how many females can i keep with one male in a 20 gallon long? a 40 gallon breeder? and a 10 gallon tank?

Um.. I don't use tanks. I wouldn't use a 10 other than for raising weanlings.

A 20.. probably a pair, maybe a trio.

A 40.. 1.4 maybe 1.5.

if you dont use tanks then what do you use?

It's better to use a wire cage than a tank since a tank doesn't offer much ventilation.

what size of those cages do you use?

The biggest one.

how many raats do you keep in one of those cages?

Right now I have a pair in the first one, an adult pair with 4 juvies in the second, 4 juvies in the third, and another adult pair in the fourth.

You could keep a trio or maybe more in one of those. Just be sure to keep them clean.
