Serious pics. Dug out the good camera..

Ok, that doesn't make me a better photographer, but hey, the camera is good ;)

Since Smeagol was nice and fired up and had 4 popcorn Dubias, I figured, he is sitting so pretty and still, lets make a couple real pics before letting him go back to sleep..

I have a old Canon EOS 20D body with some super nice lenses, a couple of them L lenses. While the body works perfectly fine and I have all the cables and readers to transfer from the older technology I'm thinking of getting a Canon EOS 80D body to go along with the super nice lenses I have. But then I will actually have to use it more often! Lol..

Quality lenses make such a difference in image quality, but jumping from a 20D to an 80D will likely be world of a difference :)

I want a crestie but my wife doesn't like lizards and I hate crickets :(

He is pretty fired up in that picture. I've seen him darker coming out of the "sauna", though.

When fired down he is a lovely shade of light lavender/grey with light yellow..

Then the other day he let out a tiny squeak when I opened the cage, I just about fell over !!! Don't expect sounds to come out of my reptiles, haha.

I DO love him already. I guess I was thinking about him a lot last night because I ended up dreaming about him, for crying out loud!!! LOL

In my dream I was in a weird, dark and huge house. I kept showing off to everyone that was there that Smeagol would come running as soon as I called him. He sure did, from wherever he was in that weird house. I would give him a kiss on his head and he went off again.

After I woke up this morning and checked on him he was in his usual spot, giving me his slightly dismissive look as if he would say "yeah right, keep on dreaming..."
