    Happiness is...
Today's threads are bumming me out. People are eating snakes, eating mice, dispensing with their normals in various unsavory ways. Enough!

I'm borderline obsessed with how my cat smells. He smells like fresh laundry, or ionized air after a thunder storm. Like pure sunshine. I love taking deep inhales of his ample tummy. It instantly puts me in my happy place.

Describe something that makes you deliriously happy!

Keep breathing! Inhale all that cat goodness!

I love telling jokes as that always makes me happy! However, not all of them are okay for general consumption :) :(. Also, many are long and need inflection to tell correctly.

Here, I'll try one, a pun!

Did you here about the Mexican Train Robber?????????

    He had LocoMotives!

A Petco employee that is willing and happy to hear husbandry suggestions and actually implement them. That makes me very happy! Also my 4 year old niece not being afraid to hold a boop, my profile picture[emoji4]

If I put my face 3” away from a cat my throat would close up and die..... somthing I’ll never get to do hahaha that’s why I’ve always had reptiles because I can’t hold them and not break out and have my eyes swell up . That being said , hammering down on a super sport street bike or dirtbike gets me smiling ear to ear !

Speed and danger gives me the adrenaline rush that makes me “deliriously” happy. But I prefer the peacefulness of being alone deep into the woods or mountains that just feeds my soul.

There are many things that bring me happiness... My son, going for a nice ride on my Harley, hiking or spending time in nature, etc...

Since all three of my jobs involve dealing/interacting with people, spending some quiet, peaceful time with my beeps is always relaxing.

But, what really makes my day is making a positive difference in someone’s life. That’s why I started The Warrior Heart and why I do what I do.

I define happiness as something temporary and superficial. Happiness is caused by luck, fortune and other worldly pleasures and only lasts for the moment. In that regard, laughter generally makes me happy. A good laugh instantly makes me feel way better.

Now if you are talking about joy? Joy is a deeper feeling. Something that lingers and pushes through other feelings and connects to your very soul. Akin to hope. My God, my family, and my pets give me great joy.

I don't know happiness but love is putting on boots to go for a walk at 6 in the morning because your dog is wanting it.

These days I find happiness in simplicity. I live a simple, quiet life and I enjoy it.

I love being able to cook my girlfriend and I a nice dinner and just relax, share some laughs and simply enjoy being with her.

I also love that I have a solid relationship with my family. I talk to at least one family member pretty much every day, and my brother almost daily. I love seeing them when we can get together.
And my niece and nephew bring the most amazing feeling of happiness to my soul. They honestly give me faith in humanity. Their innocence just puts my soul at ease. Something as simple as their smiles or laughter, a big hug, or an "I love you uncle Craig" just melts me.

I also find happiness in music, nice weather. Both can help me drift away and forget about life for a while...

...and of course, my animals make me happy. Watching them, caring for them, and knowing they live well in my care makes me happy

happiness to me is being totally content with who you are. that doesn't mean you can't change or there's things you don't really like about you, but that you quit being so down on or so judgemental to yourself about these things. accept that no one is perfect, and accept that you don't have to be either, and it's not a race to become your best self. accepting your flaws for what they are and either working on them or just letting those flaws be, whichever you choose.

    :)

Yes!!! Absolutely!! I can't read books on a tablet or phone or anything. You just can't beat a good book. Even the smell of old pages. The pages themselves could tell a story.

Now yesterday would have been the perfect day to talk about how we like to cook people and eat them.

seeing Mt. Rainier when i travel always puts an immediate smile on my face no matter the mood i was previously in. like if i'm driving and it's peeking out between buildings or trees and i see it, i smile. i can't help it. it is esp. gorgeous seeing it from a ferry boat. i always take a pix of it when i'm on a plane. it's like a flag marking "I'm home."

family home cooked dinners. love getting together w/ my mom and sister. new socks and underwear, Pride Parade, Seahawks touchdowns and interceptions/recovered fumbles, my BP's scooting around the house, random acts of kindness like if someone was nice and brought in donuts for everyone in the office in the morning, etc. etc.
