Beautiful crew. Me thinks someone has an obsession with yellow. 😉

I'm jealous you got tea time with your beauties.
I attempted quality interaction with my guy today and was promptly met with pee time. Followed closely by laundry time.

My vet felt the same way after Rainbow visited Saturday. She pissed and pooped all over her leg and the floor. Was epic! LOL.:O:D

beautiful snakes! i like the BP's on 1 arm while taking pix with the other arm style. it kinda makes it look like a selfie but instead of your face - it's a snake!
Edit: Also what's the weather down there like? it seems like it's always warm and you're always hanging out outside w/ snakes and gators and horses lol.

Re: Tea Time and Gossip hour...
Soooooo jealous!!! They’re saying possible snow/wintery mix again this weekend. Those pics make me want to hop on my Harley and head south.

The weather down here is very temperamental. There are extreme up and downs. Sometimes within a day or so. 80's one day, Freezing next.
Overall we have a lot of very beautiful days, though.
Summers are rough. Incredibly hot and humid and lots of storms and rain. Like a horrible Sauna. Then we have lot of severe storms, tornadoes and lets not forget the hurricanes :(
Therefor I treasure the days of warm and pleasant weather we sometimes get in the spring, fall or even winter.
Lately we have a lot of beautiful days in the mid seventies. Cold fronts come and go, then its back to blue skies.

Yeah, you can keep the snow, haha. I would like snow for a day or two, pretty snow. And then it would have to leave for a year. I grew up in Germany and I don't miss the cold or dreary weather at all :)
We do get lots of days that are absolutely great for riding (bike or horse) during winter/spring and fall. Summer is brutal, here..

I was stationed in North Carolina while in the Marine Corps and remember the winters were never bad there. Spent some time in Mississippi, West Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and Southern Cali too, although only a few weeks at a time in those places. Definitely a fan of the warmer weather.

Me too !!
My dream is to eventually live somewhere where it is warm without high humidity. And sweeping, wide open views.
I'm not a big fan of dense forest or feeling closed in.
I'll take somewhat barren mountains over that !! As long as I get the wide open spaces, big blue sky, and warm dry weather :) Of course some green would be nice, too, but no dark forests or no views.
Well, one can dream ;)

From what you describe with wide open spaces, my first thought was Montana or Wyoming or something like that, but the winters there are probably harsh.
I don’t mind some forest, but not super dense. I’m also not a fan of high humidity, although I’d take it right now since I’ve been keeping my humidity up and steady, but it’s been a constant battle.
If you know where this utopia that you speak of exists, don’t keep it a secret. Please share. Lol

I haven't really figured that out just yet !! But probably somewhere out west ;) I might have to have a summer home and a winter home. There are gorgeous places that just get to cold in winter...
I just love open spaces. There can be mountains, but not densely forested. I lived in El Paso for a short time. The city is nothing to write home about, that is for sure, but when you got up into those mountains and looked all around, wow. So much blue sky, it was almost overwhelming.
A drier climate will make it more difficult to keep the humidity up for the animals, but it can be done. I don't even mind the humidity here most of the year, but the summers are miserable.

No way! I was stationed at Ft. Bliss in El Paso when I was in the Marine Corps. I was an instructor at the Marine Corps Stinger Missile School. I got my red tails when I was out there.
Yes, the city was nothing special. I agree about that. Did you ever get out to Elephant Butte? It’s a state park/ reservoir near Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. Always loved the name of that town. Lol [emoji23]
Lots of beautiful places around the country that I’d like to explore (some only at certain times of the year)... One day... when I hit the lottery and am not working around the clock. [emoji16]

I probably did go to that park !
I used to go a lot to that big rock formation, forgot the name. But a lot of people went rock climbing there, or hiking. There were lots of old Indian drawings up in there. I could spend all day exploring!
I kind of liked the landscape. It was more of a barren one, but had its own Beauty, that is for sure !!

From what you’re describing you probably hiked around Mammoth Rock and Aztec Cave. They were on a State Park that I can’t think of the name right now. I think I went up there a few times. I remember getting a ton of those huge cactus spikes or thorns in my legs the first time and deciding to wear long pants from there on out.
El Paso was also the first place I ever saw a drive-thru liquor store.
