How Much Did You Pay For Your First Pet BP?

I'm jsut curious, how much and what morph you guys's first pet snake was.

My first morph was a Enchi Pastel and I paid $60 for her

I paid $40 for my normal I think.

$125 for my first snake, a normal Russian Rat. $400 for my lesser mojave BEL ball python.

My first BP was free. A buddy was moving in with his girlfriend and she wasn't having a snake in her house.

That was about 18-19 years ago, so he was a normal. Back then albinos were the only morph and nobody could have afforded to just give them away, hahahaha.

Since getting back into the hobby I bought Tyson, my Vanilla BP for $100. Probably over paid for a single gene like vanilla, but he's worth every penny and more to me. He's an awesome BP and a part of the family.

My first ball python was a $385 pied. Not my first snake but my first ball python. My first snake was a boa back in the 80’s and I have slept since then but I want to say I spent a few hundred for her back in the day.

hah, for Yellow it was $300 4 years ago.

My first BP was a normal that I got for free from some people that thought he was a boa. They even gave me the cage and lights. Tho I had to throw out everything in the cage because there was no way it was going to come clean it was that dirty.

Albino Black Pastel - $275

My first ball python was a normal that I got on Craig's List for free. I didn't even know if it was a male or female. And it was so underfed it was a year old and only the size of a hatchling. That snake grew like a rocket the first year! And I found out it was a female. I'm breeding her for the first time this year, she is probably over 2000 grams now. And I'm breeding her to a Scaleless Head male!

I paid $200 for boople and she is worth every damn penny. I loves her so much! Odyn was free from work.

$60 for a adult normal with the tank, heat rock, water dish, and a bag of aspen bedding. I just thought about it and it was over 20 years ago. I'm adding op to the thanks a lot thread for making me feel old [emoji14]

I can't remember what my first snake was. It was either a corn, rat, or black racer. I used to catch them in my backyard when I was very young. I'd keep them in old fish aquariums for a week or 2 and feed them frogs until my grandmother would let them go

I very much wanted a coral glow or banana pinstripe of some sort, and so I ended up dropping $350 on my boy, but that included shipping. My boyfriend still can't believe I spent that much on a snake, but I like them yellow and patterned. :D

My first ball python was my Pastel Butter Congo boy Meeko. I got him for $175
