When to upgrade to a cage from a tub...
So when is a retic ready to go into an cage from a tub?

I have a female that is just under 40 in. In a 41 qt tub wondering when should she be put in a cage?
I have a 4ftx2½ cage built but thinking it maybe too big and stress her out even with multiple hides....

I would do it now. Retics aren't ball pythons. Give her a few hides in case she wants them but don't be surprised if she only uses them rarely, like when she's going into shed, and is out and about otherwise.

Lol i put Caesar in a tub when i was cleaning his cage last week.....he pushed so hard, he popped the snap lock off the top of the tub and pushed the lid back and sat there with his head on the rim looking at me. I put Caesar in a 4x2 when he was 2 feet. I put him in his 6x3 when he was probably close to 6 feet but i would have done it sooner but didnt have the caging. If i had to do it all over, i would just order 6x3 or 8x3 cages right off the bat and put the baby retic in here with a bunch of hides. As it sits now, i might have to order Caesar an 8x3 end of summer if he keeps growing. Ali is going to love me if i have one along with Pat's new 4x2x3 cage end of summer.

You might need to consider a new home addition to room all these enclosures!

There you go. Make sure to google them and check all the Reviews. There's been a bunch of the Chinese ones that go bad quickly.

You're telling me!. I'm already trying to figure out to fit Pat's forever home in the room. I could put it on top of Louie's cage but I have to make sure the 4x2 LifeLine folding table can hold the weight. So far it has an empty T10 and Louies T8 on it. So i have to figure out how much more a 4x2x3 cage will weigh over the 4x2x15 and then factor in the deduction from the sliding glass doors on the T10 to an acrylic swing door on the arboreal cage. As for the 8 footer, I have no idea where to put that haha. Maybe scoot the 2 stack fo cages together and throw it on top of both stacks haha.

Or use my extra AP stand and put the empty T10 on the bottom to act like a table and then Louies cage and then Pats cage. That would put that whole stack at about 6 ft which would match the other two......and i still want a Peruvian BCC, a moonglow BCI, an ultra Ivory SD retic and another GTP.....probably an Aru/Biak cross as the ones i've seen are incredible looking. Maybe, i can poach one of the upstair bedrooms for another snake room!!!

Omg you racist!!! I use nothing but Chinese lighting and its awesome!!! Actually, Ali might be selling them and that could explain why I have to replace them every year lol. I'll ask her when I call her to get a new set of lights for Vicky's T25 as they are dim now lol

With a roll that big, make sure you get a few plugs for it as you can probably make a few sets out that huge roll.

Not sure you guys have access to these because White Python is a British company but their enclosure LEDs are phenomenal.

the only drawback is the adhesive. We don't put anything sticky in our tanks. Bummer.

Yeah most people over here buy the metal clips and screw them into the vivarium top. The lights slide right in.

Most PVC manufactures adhere them too. The only difference is that they Route them so their flush.
If you were worried you can always put a skin of Silicone down before sticking them.
