I finally did it!!
I bought a 21 month old male BCI boa 3 hours ago. Got it from David Green and he's a Roswell Laddertail. He won't arrive until March because of the weather, but that's OK... I've waited 30 years for him. That will give me time to set up his T8 I got for him today (I got one for Freddy as well! ;)).
I named him Darby.
Here are 2 pictures I got from David's Website:

Man, a thousand thanks for letting me know Cody was selling those T8's, I would have not bought the boa without having one of these. :gj:
And thank you Cody for helping a brother out!

Re: I finally did it!!
No problem Ricky. Glad you could put them to good use!

Thanks every one, he really looks good to me. I had a certain look in my mind and I didn't know what morph it was or how to describe it, I found other bci's for sale what they were too pink or too yellow/tan. He is what I was looking for, even if he's not a RLT  (Sauzo is a trip).

Thanks brother, yes my first boa. I just hope I can provide him with excellent care so he can be a happy 20 year old boa like your Colombian Red Tail. But I'm not stressing too much, we have very knowledgeable Boa owners in this forum like yourself, Sauzo, bcr229, AbsoluteApril, Reinz and Gio.

I'm sure you'll do fine. Boas are pretty easy to care for. Even BCC which some people say are harder to keep, i have found so far being pretty easy. Just gotta go light on feeding but i do that anyways with my BCIs so it really wasnt anything different.

Thanks ricky I'm actually flattered to hear that. Maybe a runner up in that list would be cloud the boa her and reinz seem to be awol at the moment. When it comes to the care of my boas I'm nothing special. Change their big water bowls at least every 7 days always on clean paper and the boa phile enclosures help keep the right heat and humidity. But when comes to being able to consistently take care of him for nearly 20 years yes I pat my self on the back in a way. And hopefully people who know about him can take him as a example on what to expect in terms of life span and the size of boas. As well as try to make sure to do the same by being prepared to maybe take care of them for maybe 30+years.
