I love this because it controls and gives readout.

    These two

the latter is my go to for remote placement. The former was more of a test but is incredibly accurate and fast adjusting. The cheaper one take up to 30 minutes when first placed in to acclimate.

I also use the Acurite above but prefer this one which can stay outside the cage and utilizes a single probe for both temp and humidity:

This topic has been on my mind lately because I'm looking for something easily mountable. I have three of the ones listed above. I tested all three last night and the two Accurites had similar numbers (2-3% humidity difference and 0-2 degree temp difference. Note: All three were placed on the cool side of the enclosure.

However the TH-100, had a 6-10% higher humidity difference and a 1-2 degree higher temp difference.

ckuhn003 that first link doesn't work. I use this, I'm looking at other ones though.

Sorry about that. I thought I had copied the full link from one of the posters above. This should work.

It's a nice unit but a little to bulky to put in the enclosure (especially mine since it's only 12 inches deep).

That humidity difference is more notable than the 1-2 degree temp difference which is probably within any manufacturers tolerance.

I have 2 TH-100s that read pretty much identical and are comparable to my Acu-rites. I have read reviews about some being off but mine are within 1-2 degrees and 2-3% of the acu-rites when stabilized in the same area. My acu-rites do not read identically. For the low price and convenience, I'd try another TH-100 unit.

i use these BeGrit gauges: https://www.amazon.com/BeGrit-Hygrom.../dp/B017NOLJ3M they're cute and work well. u get a frowny face baby when the humidity (or temps) is outta your preset range.

I'm currently using the ThermoPro TP60 with two wireless probes. They're a lot more compact than the AcuRite wireless probes, plus they're supposedly rainproof. You can have up to three probes per display station, which will be nice when I move up to bigger caging.

im new, i just use my digital thermostats for tracking the temps. one probe on the heat pat/hot spot side and one probe for the CHE for the mid/ambiant temp. i also use a temp gun. i think it does a good job.
