Beautiful snake. I just acquired a baby Burm and on the way home with him my kids decided Loki was the appropriate name for my new snake.

Thanks.. I'm into Norse mythology an odinism so it only made sense to name him after the god of mischief...

My female is named dreki (Norse for dragon)...

My wife and daughter are also into Norse Mythology. Their thoughts were Loki's power of manipulation. That way if anyone had evil or bad thoughts of him he could manipulate them to think good of him. My first thought was they named him Loki for his shape shifting ability......shedding. Lol. Guess I was thinking wrong.

Little up date sorry no pictures.. so Loki has become quick to learn when it's feeding time an handling time .. I still use something to make him aware he isn't being fed.. no longer use a hook but a empty paper towel roll so his teeth won't get damaged if he were to bite.... I have him in a 28qt. Tub guessing he is close to 36 in. Thinking of moving him to 41 qt tub which is (34 L by17 in wide)...
