    Morph Market
    Good afternoon and happy holidays!

I hope all is in great spirits. If not, I am offering you a virtual hug! My question is, has anyone ever purchased anything of morph market? If so, what was your experience?

I am considering getting a couple of snakes of the website but I wanted to ask around to get a general consensus of experiences. If that makes sense.

    Thanks in advance.

Morph Market is basically just a giant classified site for breeders of all walks of life to advertise their snakes. There are small hobby sellers and huge commercial breeders that use morph market. So it's not MM you need to be wary of, but rather the individual sellers you're looking at. If you find a snake you're interested in, you can research the individual seller for feedback and reviews. faunaclassifieds.com is a great place to do your homework on breeders.

But to directly answer your question - LOADS of people here have purchased off morph market. Just do your homework first on the breeders. :gj:

    P.S. Hugs back atcha!

Well that makes perfect sense. There are a couple morphs that I want that I can’t find here locally. I found them on morph market. One in particular is a Soul Sucker. Had the chance to buy one but didn’t. Now o kick myself in but everyday because of that.

I have, and the key is communication. Just do your research, ask questions if the info you want isn't listed in the ad, and make sure the shipping is co-ordinated with precision. I love morph market.

There are users here who sell on morph market. It's just a listing site for breeders and sellers so you need to contact the seller and find out before you buy, same as you would do on fauna classified or kingsnake.com

I've bought about half a dozen snakes off MM and I've been really happy with all the breeders I've bought from. Most of them are great about answering questions, holding snakes, and shipping when everything's ready. I second what everyone else has said about doing your homework though. I've had bad experiences with sellers on other websites because I didn't research them first.

Thanks! I am a noob when it comes to purchasing animals online. I have never done that before. So I am very apprehensive.

Yeah I have never purchased an animal online so that’s where my apprehensiveness is coming from. That’s why I figured I would ask you guys before jumping feet first into something.

I have bought 3 snakes through the help of MM. I am new to all this and i was/am apprehensive as well.
Best things you can do for yourself:
Make an account on fauna classifieds.
Look on MM and pick several names of places that sell the morphs you want.
Take those names and search them on the boi section on fauna. I suggest only buying from places that have a lot of positive feedback.
Ask lots of questions, the people i have dealt with have been very nice and helpful.

Shipping is a lot more straightforward and easy than it seems. After you pay, the breeder will ask for your shippong info, and at that time you can set up a ship day. Depending on where you live or if you are paranoid like me, you can have them ship to a local fedex hub, which allows you to pick them up in the morning.
I mention this because i live out on land and fedex doesnt get to my house till 5pm. I would rather drive 40 mim at 9am to make sure my noodle is safe.

Just my thoughts and tips. MM is a great way to search, but always do your homework before buying, and go with your gut on decisions.

Morph Market is great! to add to add to what others ahve already said about doing your homework on sellers/breeders, etc. keep in mind that it is the holiday season and shipping traffic is crazy right now. (it might also be cold depending on where the animal is shipped and received.) see if the seller is ok with u putting a deposit down and make payments to be made in full and shipping after the holidays.

Keep in mind that right now if you purchase a snake it will likely be ship comes January.

FedEx experiences 30% delays in starting the second week of December and up to 80% delays the third week of December, making it a potentially risky situation, I sent my last package of the year yesterday and will not start shipping again until the second week of January when everything is back to normal and many breeders will do the same.

    MM purchase #1, from J-Royals

    #2, from Bradford Cole

and #3 is currently in the works. just use basic internet common sense, be aware and know to look for red flags, and you will have many pleasant experiences. :)

You can also search for breeders from your local area on MM. Its a nice feature and helped me connect with a great breeder 15 minutes from my house.

I personally like being able to see and touch the animal before I buy. Plus no shipping costs or worries!

All I can say for MorphMarket is that theres some people who never respond and theres others who respond within an hour and are extreamly polite! There was one seller on there who actually responded with "Thats a great question..." and thats the kind of stuff I like to hear from vendors/sellers. Also like others said make a fauna account and ask about the sellers you are interested in
